Great way to find surf to photographers!
It’s not easy to find good, trustworthy surf photographers - until this app came around! Makes it easy to find and communicate with a photographer. I’m definitely going to recommend this to friends.

Where has this been all my life?!?! This app has absolutely changed the game for surfing. I’m never gonna have to scour Craigslist for a photographer ever again and now I got an easy way find my buddies surf instructors to get them in the water🤙🤙

What a great surfing app! Had a session with the instructor and it went amazingly. Super quick and easy to use. I would rather use this app than go through any surf camp. Trying to learn on my own time with personalized instruction. I’m so excited to get better with GoSurf!

This app has given me the ability to do so much more with my time in the water! I can find photographers with just the click of a button. I love how easy it is to link members of the surf community. 10/10 would recommend this from beginners to experts!

Let me tell you what kind of app you’re dealing with.
First it instantly crashes on iOS 12.4 and lower and is unusable. Second the app is littered with bugs regarding persisting data, feels like they made this in 2 weeks and didn’t even completely finish and decided to sent it out half baked (which it seems like all developers were).
The UX teleported me back to 2003 and the payment system seems both cumbersome, borderline against Apple TOS and overall very prone to fraud and headache.
The only applicable region is San Diego??? Somewhat of a big detail to only mention once in the fine print of your app description. Seems intentional to fish for downloads.
The best part is all of the above doesn’t even address the fact that this app is a inferior redundancy. All of the functionality of this app is made available by existing apps and websites which all do what GoSurf does in a more polished and user friendly way.
My advice to any users, if this app even applies to you and you’re in San Diego, is to stay far away and instead go with the myriad of tried and true surf schools that will appear after a simple google search of “surf lessons San Diego”.
My advice to any vendors would be the same, absolutely ignore this poor excuse of a middleman, who would take their commission, raise overall prices for your customer, and in exchange force you to use one of the most dated, broken interfaces I’ve seen.
Instead build or continue to improve your own web presence, which these days can be more streamlined than ever and I assure you the experience will be better than being forced to go through this app.
