Great, when it works
Ever since YES became part of Gotham Sports, it times out incessantly. Not a fun way to watch a game. Features are great, picture quality and sound are top notch but it is frustrating at best to have to constantly kill the app and relaunch. Gotham - this is pricey - DO BETTER.

Terrible app every time I try to log in with tv provider it shows the same screen with Verizon this page isn’t loading I try for months nothing then I decide it’s time to call them didn’t worst app of all time should of kept yes and msg seprate

Awful app across all platforms. I use it on my computer, fire stick, Roku, chromecast, basically anything that this app is compatible with. It is an awfully made and maintained app. You’d think they’d have it figured out after a few years of this app but nope. Horrible functionality. Frequent log outs. Freezing. Buffering. Everything moves slow. Overpriced for a subscription. There is nothing good to say

Awful App
Quite possibly one of the worst functioning apps, takes forever to load, click a live game it will take you to the pregame broadcast show, you have to navigate the app to find the live showing, it crashes all the time… $20+ a month to watch a game that should be televised in my area and it’s barely functional.

Worst streaming app
It is so sad that the Gotham sports app is the only way to watch the Yankees if you don’t have cable and it is this glitchy. It is worst on my Samsung tv, where I actually want to watch the games. Among the other issues, even silly settings make no sense like it automatically starts the game from the beginning. Why would you think I’m most likely to want to watch a game from the beginning instead of live? Unfortunately, there is no need for proper investment since media rights are a monopoly. I am close to canceling and just not watching my favorite team.

Not worth it
Not worth it you don’t even get every game. You only get a few games, especially if you’re a Yankee fan.

Worst App
This app almost never works. I love the idea of having all New York sports knitted together in one place, but it is executed so, so poorly. I can stream 4K on YouTube tv, but on the same set of devices and internet the app struggles a choppy feed. You throw in the fact that this PAID SERVICE FLASHES AN ADVERTISEMENT BEFORE IT STARTS STREAMING, and I think this might be the largest case of buyer’s remorse I’ve experienced in a long time. I’m shocked at how highly rated this app is in the store and can only imagine they have paid/inflated/used bots or something to raise the rating bc nobody I know, myself included, believes this is anything but a failed product. Please just get Fubo or cable and don’t waste your money on this.

Necessary evil
Have to use this app to watch the Yankees but it’s awful, like many other reviews say. Cuts out all the time and I have log in several times per game, freezes a bunch (it’s not my WiFi, everything else works fine), I get the “snow” screen. And there’s such a delay - I see a notification on my phone that someone scores and then a minute later the score happens. Will not renew, just listen on the radio, it’s free.

Sound annoyances
The app is OK, and I appreciate being able to watch the Yankees games.
I am not sure if this is an app issue or not. The sound mix is annoying. The announcers are too soft and the crowd noise too loud. When you turn up to hear the announcers better, you get blasted by how loud the commercials are.

Terrible Quality
App is very choppy. Impossible to watch a game through without buffering.
Can’t login
Bought a subscription but i cant login now. Support wasn’t able to help me. App also very buggy, constantly restarting. Booooo

I have had to delete this app several times and re download it, it constantly says I’ve reached my streaming limits when I’m home and haven’t traveled and forget it if I do travel and come back I’ve called support now 3x within the last 2 months to fix this issue. app is terrible and all this just to watch the Yankees I can’t stand it.

Ads get stuck on repeat. Have to restart app frequently. Poor quality application. Not worth the subscription price.

This has got to be the worst app I have ever used. IT goes out of its way to make it difficult, confusing and extremely frustrating. It makes the price of the subscription which was already high, seem astronomically high with all the frustration. I’m canceling my subscription!!!! They needed to get it together before they put this abomination of an app on the market. A colossal waste of time trying to get this to work. I’ll listen on the radio!!

Never complain about these apps, but it’s just complete trash. Paying for Cable TV with YES network. Can’t login into Gotham sports app through My Verizon FiOS account access.
Also, Verizon FIOS stopped letting you watch YES network and MSG through their Verizon FIOS mobile app if you’re not on there home Wi-Fi.

Login flow iOS TV
The latest release of the app has broken the login flow on my Apple TV. It asks you to use Google SSO but no login prompts are shown in iOS TV or my iPhone.
