Worst App Ever
Constantly freezes, keeps playing ads while game is playing, starts on pregame and impossible to fast forward to live action. Just the worst app to ever exist
Poor Performance
Constantly kicked out of the App and half the time the picture is extremely blurry. NOT worth the high cost!
Nice when it works
Has most of the games. Usually works well. When it does not work though there's no fixing it and support is next to useless. Amazing you pay money for a bit to link you to articles
Just ok on Apple TV
Not a lot of functionality to begin with like pausing or going back is almost impossible. And it hangs very often during games to the point that I need to reboot the app. Should be wayyyy easier to do this. Not like they’re the first.

This app is genuinely awful - difficult to use and constantly glitchy. Very happy I won’t need to watch games here next season.
Sign in is torture
Please get a QR code so I can take a picture and sign in using my phone. Also, the broadcast of the games don’t freeze but many times the video and audio are not synched. This happens occasionally across all of my devices.
Terrible this year
Gotham Sports app is so bad this year. The audio and video are consistently out of sync, sometimes by minutes, yet the commercials are always in sync. During tonight’s pivotal bottom of the 7th, the app never came back from a pitching change, showed ten minutes of commercials and came back in the top of the 8th. We missed the Yankee’s go ahead home run. Just terrible.

Terrible App
Garbage app that won’t load video even when cable is connected. Do yourself a favor and don’t try to use this app. A disgrace to all Yankee fans.

Good riddance
Terrible app. Glad it’s closing up shop. Rarely worked. Logging in was near impossible. Got errors constantly.
Never works
After losing access to YES app and moving to this app unable to watch ANY game via my phone. Only get something went wrong. Have latest update and iPhone up to date. Useless

This app is horrible I have never had so many issues with the couch rights and login and dealing with trying to watch a game you need to do better with this couch rights scenario I’m constantly calling and having to get my account reset the couch rights is messing everything up I almost don’t want to be a yankee fan anymore you are getting to greedy and this app doesn’t make it easy

Pay wall?? Worst App EVER.
Why is this app not letting me access the YES network for Yankees games? Only the MSG network works? My cable plan (Verizon FIOS) includes the Yes Network, yet this app is now blocking me with a $209 pay wall. A month ago, I had no such problem. This app is always causing problems for paying customers, and now I can’t even access Yankees games. Worst app EVER.

Volume increases on commercials
Whenever commercials come on, the volume jumps a noticeable amount - where it’s a problem when I’m watching Yankees late at night and baby is asleep in other room. Then I turn it down and when game comes back on, you can barely hear again. Terrible app/network.
Eh its ok
First time with this app and really not happy with it. We use this app on our smart TV with Roku stick and now have had to personally call Gotham a few times because of out of area message, when we never left the area! So they have to reset it for me by having me go online and telling them IP address then have to sign in and out of app several times and even delete app and re-install just to get it to work again! Now they tell me to sign in and out before 30 days so it doesn’t happen again! So frustrating! Will not be purchasing again next year

VOLUME ISSUES
It’s unbelievable that in the year of our lord 2026 we cannot have standard volume across the content and the commercials. The commercials are at least 15 db louder than the broadcast and it is INFURIATING. FIX THIS NOW

Great, when it works
Ever since YES became part of Gotham Sports, it times out incessantly. Not a fun way to watch a game. Features are great, picture quality and sound are top notch but it is frustrating at best to have to constantly kill the app and relaunch. Gotham - this is pricey - DO BETTER.
