Terrible App
Garbage app that won’t load video even when cable is connected. Do yourself a favor and don’t try to use this app. A disgrace to all Yankee fans.

Good riddance
Terrible app. Glad it’s closing up shop. Rarely worked. Logging in was near impossible. Got errors constantly.
Never works
After losing access to YES app and moving to this app unable to watch ANY game via my phone. Only get something went wrong. Have latest update and iPhone up to date. Useless

This app is horrible I have never had so many issues with the couch rights and login and dealing with trying to watch a game you need to do better with this couch rights scenario I’m constantly calling and having to get my account reset the couch rights is messing everything up I almost don’t want to be a yankee fan anymore you are getting to greedy and this app doesn’t make it easy

Pay wall?? Worst App EVER.
Why is this app not letting me access the YES network for Yankees games? Only the MSG network works? My cable plan (Verizon FIOS) includes the Yes Network, yet this app is now blocking me with a $209 pay wall. A month ago, I had no such problem. This app is always causing problems for paying customers, and now I can’t even access Yankees games. Worst app EVER.

Volume increases on commercials
Whenever commercials come on, the volume jumps a noticeable amount - where it’s a problem when I’m watching Yankees late at night and baby is asleep in other room. Then I turn it down and when game comes back on, you can barely hear again. Terrible app/network.
Eh its ok
First time with this app and really not happy with it. We use this app on our smart TV with Roku stick and now have had to personally call Gotham a few times because of out of area message, when we never left the area! So they have to reset it for me by having me go online and telling them IP address then have to sign in and out of app several times and even delete app and re-install just to get it to work again! Now they tell me to sign in and out before 30 days so it doesn’t happen again! So frustrating! Will not be purchasing again next year

VOLUME ISSUES
It’s unbelievable that in the year of our lord 2026 we cannot have standard volume across the content and the commercials. The commercials are at least 15 db louder than the broadcast and it is INFURIATING. FIX THIS NOW

Great, when it works
Ever since YES became part of Gotham Sports, it times out incessantly. Not a fun way to watch a game. Features are great, picture quality and sound are top notch but it is frustrating at best to have to constantly kill the app and relaunch. Gotham - this is pricey - DO BETTER.

Terrible app every time I try to log in with tv provider it shows the same screen with Verizon this page isn’t loading I try for months nothing then I decide it’s time to call them didn’t worst app of all time should of kept yes and msg seprate

Awful app across all platforms. I use it on my computer, fire stick, Roku, chromecast, basically anything that this app is compatible with. It is an awfully made and maintained app. You’d think they’d have it figured out after a few years of this app but nope. Horrible functionality. Frequent log outs. Freezing. Buffering. Everything moves slow. Overpriced for a subscription. There is nothing good to say

Awful App
Quite possibly one of the worst functioning apps, takes forever to load, click a live game it will take you to the pregame broadcast show, you have to navigate the app to find the live showing, it crashes all the time… $20+ a month to watch a game that should be televised in my area and it’s barely functional.

Worst streaming app
It is so sad that the Gotham sports app is the only way to watch the Yankees if you don’t have cable and it is this glitchy. It is worst on my Samsung tv, where I actually want to watch the games. Among the other issues, even silly settings make no sense like it automatically starts the game from the beginning. Why would you think I’m most likely to want to watch a game from the beginning instead of live? Unfortunately, there is no need for proper investment since media rights are a monopoly. I am close to canceling and just not watching my favorite team.

Not worth it you don’t even get every game. You only get a few games, especially if you’re a Yankee fan.

Worst App
This app almost never works. I love the idea of having all New York sports knitted together in one place, but it is executed so, so poorly. I can stream 4K on YouTube tv, but on the same set of devices and internet the app struggles a choppy feed. You throw in the fact that this PAID SERVICE FLASHES AN ADVERTISEMENT BEFORE IT STARTS STREAMING, and I think this might be the largest case of buyer’s remorse I’ve experienced in a long time. I’m shocked at how highly rated this app is in the store and can only imagine they have paid/inflated/used bots or something to raise the rating bc nobody I know, myself included, believes this is anything but a failed product. Please just get Fubo or cable and don’t waste your money on this.
