Difficult to use without paying - I managed to save only 4 places before the paywall went up

Not good

I have tried 5 times now. When I extract the zip file, then proceed to import the “saved places” JSON file, this software app, labels it as an “invalid file”.

Doesn’t support URL sharing

The website says I can share a list from Google Maps, but as far as I can tell the app has no such support. It does not show in any share sheet from Google Maps: list, singular place, region, etc. This app appears to be heavily vibecoded, so maybe the AI hallucinated on the website?

Works beautifully!!!

This is such a great utility for anyone who wants to transfer their lists over to Apple Maps. Worked 100% and transferred 300 places over 3 lists. Well deserved 5-stars!

Teilweise…

Ich wollte meine ca. 400 Pois aus Google Maps in Apple Karten übernehmen. Ich dachte, es würde die Position verwendet. Anscheinend wird allerdings nach der Bezeichnung gesucht. Und so habe ich nun statt 480 Einträgen in DE, GB, DK und FIN nur 280 ähnlich klingende Orte auf der ganzen Welt.
Das war nicht mein Ziel.
Immerhin 3 Sterne, da die Bedienung und bei einem gewissen Anteil auch die Umwandlung funktionierte.
