Confusing

Staff not helpful in redirecting passengers heading west towards Hamilton

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback but this app is not produced by GO Transit nor Metrolinx so your feedback here is most useful if you use the comment submission form on their website.

Schedule doesn’t exist

I’m at the bus stop right now waiting for the next bus because the bus that was supposed to leave 7 minutes ago according to the app doesn’t actually exist.

Response from developer

We apologize for the inconvenience. In order for us to track the issue, can you please let us know which stop that was? In general, there are too many bus stops so that app can only show the major ones.

Literally the best GO app

To think I downloaded this 15 or more years ago and Metrolinx still hasn’t done any better with providing proper schedules… I literally could not travel without this app. The official website is useless.

The Toronto Go App: A Living Fossil

The Toronto go app feels like it was built by a dinosaur and never updated since. Clunky UI, buried information, and basic tasks that somehow take too many steps.

This isn’t complex tech. It’s schedules and tickets. Any developer could rebuild this quickly, which makes you wonder where the money is actually going because it’s clearly not going into user experience.

Sadly, it perfectly reflects our public transit infrastructure: outdated, frustrating, and seemingly immune to improvement.
