Too few cars
Normally I’m quite happy taking GO but in the past month it’s been ridiculous from/to Niagara- trains are packed - understandable during holidays but they should plan better- today 6 cars and we had to walk through all to find a seat - do better please

I used to buy the annual subscription but they pretty much doubled the price in one year! Not worth it anymore

I can no longer open the app, navigate anything, without the annoying subscribe pop-up wall in my face. I cannot dismiss it, I cannot navigate to my settings page/account page, funny, I cant even hit the "contact button" as there's no email setup, yet I can't set it up because of the subscribe pop-up wall...

GoTrack is a paid service, which is clearly noted both on the App Store and in-app. The subscription cost is the only funding that we get and it is the only reason that we can afford to keep GoTrack running. New users are offered a 2-week free trial to see if the service is valuable to them. Additionally, the email function does work; it is your own email account on your own device that is not set up.
Greedy developer
Absolutely greedy. When they started a few years ago, they charged a one time fee to download. After a while they changed to $18 a year, which is already ridiculous as I have never seen any apps doing this. Charged to download and then switched to subscription. And now they want to increase to $40. It’s not about the amount. I have a lot of $40, its the way how this is being managed. Deleted. There are other free apps out there and this is not any better.

Pay to Use
Ridiculous concept - eventually the app will paywall you so you can no longer use it unless you purchase a subscription. The app was freely working for a couple of weeks originally, and was optimized quite well, but now that it is no longer functional without a subscription I cannot recommend it and will be deleting. What a shame and ripoff!

Forces paid subscription
So useless - it forces a paid subscription and doesn’t let you use it. Even if you pay it’s still not even good- it doesn’t account properly for delays and what new time the train will get there. Apple is literally better lol. 10 years ago GO transit had an amazing free app. This is garbage.

App works fine, but doesn’t always provide the most timely updates. It’s alright. But this app used to be FREE. Then $7.99. Then $17.99. Renewal for this year is $39.99 lol. Same product, same service, but more than double the price?? Go train times are available for free online. I didn’t mind paying for the convenience, but paying a $40 annual fee for info that is available for free is a joke. I’d recommend cancelling, bookmarking go train tracker website, and putting the $40 towards Lumosity, Headspace, Spotify or any other app that adds value to your life.

Brutal!!!!
The number of times that I have gone to the incorrect platform because I was using this app….crazy. This week there was a huge issue at the track level and all trains were delayed, but did the app say anything at all? Nope - can’t believe I paid $40 for this!! Cancelled!!!

Can’t imagine my commute without it.
Been using this app for years to get to school and work and I’ve only seen it get better and better! I’m never going back to staring at the Union screens.

App requires 3$ subscription and it locked behind it. Disappointed as a I would’ve used a free version with ads. App seemed to work perfectly for the 10 seconds I used it before the paywall popped up and couldn’t be closed.
