I was so excited to finally use it, but when I opened the app it was all in Chinese or what ever language it is! I tried to find a way to switch the language but I couldn’t understand what is said. Why did they put it this way?

This app should be deleted from the App Store as it is highly misleading. This is NOT the app you need to run your GoPro. As another reviewer mentioned, and thank you for that!, the correct app is Quik: GoPro Quik video editor.

I got a GoPro for Christmas! Unable to set it up because the app downloads only in Chinese! When will this be fixed! If not fixed in 10 days, I will be returning the GoPro for a refund.

It says the app is available in English, but I sure can’t find it. And there’s no support to help you. From what I can see on YouTube, you’re better off downloading the Quik GoPro app. Guess I’ll try that. Really poor marketing on their part.

Why is the gopro app in some asian dialect?? I don’t see and english one?? Is this from gopro because they have their logo. Why does this not seem to be supported in the American market? Did I kiss something??

I just got a Hero 8 and was trying to go through the set up process, which requires the use of the GoPro app. This appears to be a third party app.
