Works for checking
I used this app to verify that everything works, before getting the unlimited app. I am using Kartenwerft (Germany / Europe) on the iPad, it has settings for NMEA. The tricky part was not GPS2IP, but getting the network right on the iPad (DHCP didn't work for me; I had to set up the network manually).
