This new version introduces a long-awaited, much-requested feature: Apple Watch support! You can now send your routes to your watch and follow them right on your wrist. The Apple Watch app shows the route, its direction and its points of interest (waypoints) in a deliberately pared-back interface: no base map, just the essentials, readable at a glance out in the field. It complements the iPhone app, which remains the place to plan and explore in detail with your own map layers. This feature is available with the Pro Expedition version. If you already own Stroll or Adventure, a reduced price is now offered to upgrade to Expedition – a way of thanking you for your support.
