Just what I was looking for

Been looking for a Mac application to view and create GPX routes for my handheld Garmin. Wanted a local application to handle this task vs using web based solutions like Garmin. I’d rather keep my routes offline for more privacy.

Perfect for runners!

I love this app!!! It is very easy to use! I mainly use it to map my new running paths while taking elevation under consideration. With hills all around me, I want some of my runs to be easier than others, this app allows me to find the path that matches elevation and distance I want to run. With build in navigation it makes my running paths easy to follow.

Amazing GPX route planing app

I wanted an app to help me plan my hikes and runs and this app did exactly that. You get turn by turn directions and can import apple health workouts as well. Overall great with new updates being added constantly

Great

I record GPX tracks on my OSMAnd app when doing bike rides. I typically use my phone to analyze the GPX file after to see speed, altitude, etc. I wanted to view it on a bigger screen and found this GPXExplore app to be useful. In particular, I appreciate the table view that allows me to find what time of day a specific data point was recorded. Easier to find “I got here at X time and left at Y time” than hoping I recorded a segment correctly.

I wish there were more of the data analysis tools that OSMAnd had, but some of the unique features here are cool (splits per mile for example was a data breakdown I hadn’t seen before)

Thank you for making this!

Simple but beautiful

This is a great little app that I use for looking at gpx tracks of bike tours I want to do this summer. It’s fantastic for exploring, and the GUI is clean and simple (in a good way). The underlying Apple Maps look great. (Using it on a large screen in MacOS.)

Thanks for sharing!

Edit: Awesome updates since my last review! I just got the pro version, and it’s very nice! Editing tracks has been very intuitive when I tried it on smaller tracks of hikes I’ve done this summer. Adding points and moving them around works very well.

Response from developer

Thank you. 1.5 adds a workout summary with moving time, pace, gain and loss and splits, and charts any sensor the file carries, which should help with sizing up a tour before riding it. Sample files and a demo you can scrub are on objectgraph.com/gpxexplore.

A great way to explore GPX routes

GPX Explore makes it easy to see a route and understand the terrain. The elevation profile and color-coded tracks are especially helpful for spotting climbs and descents. Everything is clearly laid out, with useful stats alongside the map. A really handy app for taking a closer look at GPX files!

Great app

Easy to used, the addition of gradient as % value would be amazing

Response from developer

Thank you. 1.5, out now, colours the track by grade and the route card shows the maximum uphill and downhill grade as a percentage; the chart under the map also carries heart rate, power and cadence when the file has them. If there is a file it gets wrong, info@objectgraph.com reaches me directly.
