New unlock options: Lifetime Ownership unlocks AUv3, MIDI, saving presets, and more preset generations. Supporter Edition includes lifetime ownership plus unlimited use of the Preset Generator. If you’ve supported Gradient Synth before, your purchase is honored with Lifetime Ownership, and you’ll see a special option to upgrade to Supporter Edition. Improvements: • Over 50% CPU performance improvement. • 15+ new stock presets added. • Improved AUv3 stability and compatibility, including more reliable loading on older devices and hosts. • Presets and state restore more reliably when reopening the plugin, with safer fallback defaults when host state is unavailable. • Improved compact AU layout for smaller host windows, including better presets UI and visualizer behavior. • Smoother MIDI responsiveness in AU and overall stability. • Hardened purchase and entitlement flow with clearer pending, retry, and restore handling. • Ready for Apple Intelligence when available. Second review gone missing

I bought this app when it first came out. Day of. Now they want me to pay for it again. I don’t mind subscription based models, but you should grandfather in the people that supported you when you first bought the app. Now you want me to pay five dollars for one more year of use. I already spent eight dollars on the app. You couldn’t have just added an app purchase you had to go to the Darkside. Not happy.

Thanks for being a day-one supporter it means a lot to me. You should not be losing access to what you originally paid for. Early owners are grandfathered into ownership, and the app actually includes more features now than it did at launch. This sounds like I either didn’t communicate the pricing changes clearly enough (that’s on me), or your ownership status may not have migrated properly. Another subscription dupe

I spent seven dollars on this app. Had it three or four months. Now, they want me to spend $4.99 to have it for one year. After that it’ll be $14.99 a year. This isn’t that incredible of an app to pay this amount of money for. It’s not the worst, but it’s not the greatest and I’m kind of disgusted that this developer would not grandfather in all the people that bought this app the day it came out. That’s slimy and it’s really Not cool. Once you grandfather people in for maybe free for the first year and then 499 for the year after then I’ll think of keeping this app. If not, I’m actually going to get a refund because I don’t use this app enough to pay this amount of money for it.As someone who paid a test a ton of audio apps and owns hundreds since 2011 I find this practice despicable.

If this app is boring to you then you probably have no imagination.

A great little synth that allows you to experiment and find new sounds in an easy to use interface. I personally run it through my pedalboard and DAW plugins. Great job, please keep it up!
