Griffins

How about covering the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Biased

It’s quite obvious if this paper is far left of center in choice of topics to report and how they report them. There’s a very anti-republican tone to this newspaper. Editorials are frequently copied from the Washington Post and do not reflect the values of the West Michigan community. The Grand Rapids Press is not intellectually honest and rarely presents both sides of a topic. Very disappointing.

Total Bias

The Press is written with totally liberal slant covering up the truth of what is actually occurring.

New version

The new version of the online Press is much harder to read in an IPad. Articles that span multiple pages do not open, you have to scroll to the continuing pages. You can not jump from section to section, you have to go page by page through the paper. While I used to read the digital version I find myself going back to the print version.
Bring back the old software or fix the new one

Daily papers

I can only get the Sunday Paper delivered. To. The house...This is the only. Way. I can get the news., online is OK. But

Missing Issue

What happened with the January 12, 2025 issue? You sent the December 25, 2024 issue in its place. And, there was no searching for this issue in case it was posted incorrectly. It just was not there.

New version on iPad

The page does not fit when in portrait mode on an iPad. Need to constantly scroll up and down.

Good app but

I would like to see the pdf download of the entire paper returned.

Downloads are low resolution

If you try to download an article or any of the puzzles, the resolution is so low that the blurry text is almost illegible. It’s worthless if doing the puzzles is a major use of the app. Subscription amount is high for limited articles and content which is normally a day or so late compared to other news outlets and papers.

News

The β€œPress” continues to be a reliable source of local and state news. One needs more than sound bites to understand current affairs. Editorials also offer readers a perspective on current issues that may have not otherwise been considered. We need good news journals and journalists. Thank you Grand Rapids press.

Just a few clicks needed

When reading the GR Press on my phone or iPad, only a few clicks are needed to navigate to what I want to read next. I did have to learn the functionality of the command icons, as these are not intuitive. I like the access to past issues and the option to access live news. Load times between pages is acceptable for the service I have. The way I set my credentials makes logging on a snap. This is a benchmark app.

Press

I enjoy reading the digital version of the Grand Rapids press.

Love GR Press!

Never got around to reading the newspaper when I was receiving a hard copy. This makes it easy to breeze through the paper when ever I have a minute.

Timely

Would give it a 5 if each day there was a TV schedule for sports.

Local news

Does a fair job in reporting the local news and I appreciate the weekend addition of Washington Post.
Not too happy about paying $6.00 extra for the Thanksgiving Edition. Nothing but advertisements that GRPress gets paid for. So what should the subscribers pay for it as well?

Grand Rapids Press

A great news paper! Thoughtfully done with relevant information and always with a sense of humor.

Daily Must Read

If you live in West Michigan you must read The Grand Rapids Press every day. Reading it on line with the MLive.com app is the way to go. Local, national and international news are included in every edition, along with advice columns, comics, cooking and fashion news, weather, sports and obituaries on certain days of the week. With GR Press app, it’s so easy to access and read on your phone or iPad before you start your day.
