Mysterious but very good
I honestly don’t remember how I got this dictionary, and I can’t tell you much about it. It doesn’t explain anything about itself and it’s very rudimentary, but I have several other online dictionaries and it might be the best. I often find words here that don’t appear in my others and the definitions are clear and concise. The description in the App Store leaves almost every detail connected to this app frustratingly in the dark.

Great service but poorly designed
It’s very nice to have English wiktionary offline, but the app is poorly designed: it’s taken wiktionaries database but ditched its clean interface, uncluttered and elegant, and replaced it with something that looks like it was pulled from a design book on the page that says, “all the things to avoid on a web interface.”
The colour scheme is terrible, it doesn’t format for the particular screen, the bookmark tag covers text, one has to scroll sideways as well as vertically to see the material.
Wiki has already figured all this out: why re-invent a perfectly good wheel? Especially if you’re going to replace it with one with so many bumps?

Love ur app. Wish you could ADD auto-spelling, pronunciation symbols on EVERY word.

Flummoxed
I have made many in-app purchases through the years, but in this app I simply cannot find a way to make the purchases. These are clearly listed, but there does not appear to be a method for buying them. I went to "app support", but there is NO SUPPORT TO BE HAD, no way to actually contact the large, garish website that appears on-screen. Can anyone help, please?

Poor on iOS later & latest versions
1. Only basic functions work.
2. It doesn't rotate.
3. App gets frozen if try to do anything other than very basic functions. I have to delete & reinstall the app so often because this app gets frozen.

Needs an update
I like the app, however it is severely disconnected from the website's newer posts, and is not very compatible with newer iPhones.

Need wiktionary app with more languages
I recognize this app has only English words, and I'm completely fine with that. Non-English words would take up too much memory on the phones of people only looking for English words. This app is great because it fills that niche.
However, I would like a second wiktionary app with words from all languages. It's the main reason I prefer wiktionary.org over other online dictionaries. I only speak French and English, but I have a fascination for all languages. No app seems to fill this niche.
Creators of this app, I applaud you! But can you also make an app with all the words on wiktionary, not just the English ones?

Crashes first time and every time
I installed this on my iPad Air and iPod. In both places it just locks up completely every time I try to access the settings, etc. My only option is to close the program. Truly annoying. This should not be happening.

Free dictionary, brief but complete definitions for words looked up for; great app.
EN Version: Locks Up With IOS 8.1 iPhone & iPad
When I go to any paid feature the app locks up - process has to be dismissed, not allowing you to purchase paid options. This happens on both the iPhone 6 and iPad Mini Retna. I downloaded the French version - it works fine, allowing you the option to purchase options.

Perfect for purpose
I've been using this app for about 6 months now, and it has become my go-to dictionary. I have found if to be more comprehensive than any other dictionary (including paid apps) for iPhone.
Having studied Latin and French, I find it particularly interesting, as related word from other European languages are given below definitions.

In app purchase and iOS7 crashes
Link and Title index are extremely slow to load. Not just the 1st time as the app suggests.
Total waste of money.

Fantastic design and superb function
This App is a must have for writers, logophiles or learners. The search functionality is awesome... its really helpful while traveling also because it doesn't need an internet connection to function. Excellent Job!
