We first purchased Grandma’s Preschool when our grandsons were toddlers - at least 8 years ago! We have since purchased almost every app Grandma and Grandpa have created! We now have five grandchildren and all have learned letters, numbers, cooking, manual dexterity, matching games, alphabetical order, and math skills and so much more! They have also explored space, enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, and visiting the zoo. They have learned about insects, mixing colors, music, and building things! The oldest three are in school now, but still enjoy some of these apps!
As a teacher, I can 100% recommend these apps for children, and I do every chance I get! I actually used the fishing app as a reward for a struggling student in the classroom. It motivated him to do the work he needed to do to be able to spend a few minutes fishing with grandpa!
It is so important to introduce children to instructional apps like these (and these are the best I’ve found!) before they are introduced to the apps with bells and whistles but no educational value! I have LOVED watching my grandchildren master skills in these apps over the years, and cannot thank “Grandma” and “Grandpa” enough for playing a part in my grandchildren’s social, emotional, and educational growth!

Didn’t last long
I bought this app maybe an hour ago and my three year old is already bored. She’s played all the activities multiple times and is now asking to play a different game. And that’s on top of the several times it kicked her out of the game due to a glitch or something. I do not recommend this game and I would love a refund.

Perfect for my 2.5 yo
This app hands down is one of the BEST I have ever let my son play. I bought this as a bundle with other grandma/grandpa apps, and they are good, but he needs someone to help play those games. This one though, there is a LOT he can do on his own. He loves the color brick/train game, there is a paint a letter game that is not overly complicated that he can do independently, as well as a standard coloring with crayons section, a planting seeds game, as well as a TON more. The puzzle game is the only game where he needs some assistance. Almost everything in the class is intractable. Wonderful app, VERY pleased with my purchase.

Problems!
This app is adorable but seems to have a lot of technical problems. Hopefully someone can fix them soon because my daughter gets frustrated when something doesn't work right.
Great app
My 2 year old loves this game. She would play it for hours if I let her. I love that it has many different activities and they are all teaching her something. She seems to really enjoy the puzzles, passing out the food for snack and loves getting to give grandma a high five when she finishes an activity. Great app!

Good but needs bug fixes
My kid really likes the game and she learns a lot but every so often it goes buggy - things don't show up but are making noise, she touches something that is there and nothing happens, etc. If that could get fixed, I'd be happier.
Inventive and inspiring
My 3-year-old daughter and I both adore this app. There are so many creative centers of play she continues to discover new games and puzzles each time we explore the classroom. Snack time and recess are huge hits as are the spelling and artwork projects. Bravo
Too many glitches
Bought for our daughter who loves the game format, but is becoming frustrated with the glitches that causes the game to close down (such as when feeding the hamster, or when the ball is dragged from the shelf).
Crashes
Normally love these games but this game crashes within the first 30 seconds and is not playable. What a waste!
Best ever for the grandkids
I've watched my grandkids play this game and I'm amazed at how involved they become. It has a little bit of everything... Math, coloring, play, interaction, humor, and reading. Highly recommend.

Saw a good review on the web about this game and I bought it. My nieces have played it for hours!
It's basically an immersive learning environment for preschoolers. Pretty much everything in the small world is interactive in some way. I have to admit, there is so much going on here that even I found myself playing with it!
