Exited to see this grow!
This app is more or less exactly what I’ve been looking for since the downwards fall of Gaia GPS. I’m excited to see its usability and community grow. It would be amazing to submit backroad status reports within the app. One issue I have is that toggling the hiking layer on or off doesn’t seem to do anything. Maybe it’s because I haven’t paid for a subscription yet, but the layer doesn’t seem to do anything for me.

This is the best app by far for any backcountry trip planning. The maps are clear, there’s some really helpful terrain layers and it makes trip planning a breeze with the ability to draw routes and add waypoints. The community page is helpful to see beta and conditions, and to get ideas for future adventures!

Backcountry mapping
This was the best web browser app I could find that works on your phone for the back country. You can plan on desktop and make routes easily that are available for use offline on your phone
Drains Phone Battery
Great app with lots of features. BUT it drains the battery really badly when you record a trip.
