GraphismeMaternelle may well be the best app out there for teaching and practicing fine motor control needed for handwriting. I was very impressed with all the offered features in this app. With 20 different designs to choose from the user will never be bored. Successful tracing is reinforced with the traced design becoming a fun object. Users can choose to trace on a blank surface or lined. This is a nice touch to prepare for the next step of writing letters. Pressing the help icon does to bring up other apps to purchase, however it is non intrusive and is easy to navigate back to the home screen. Sound can be controlled easily by clicking the sound button. This is a must have app for anyone wanting to increase fine motor control and writing skills for preschoolers or special needs students.
