About
Grass Log is a ledger for one lawn. Split the yard into zones, give each a target height and a number of days between mows, and see which zone is due.
After a mow, log the date, a hand estimate of the height you left, whether you bagged the clippings, and how many passes that zone took. The estimate is what you judge by eye, in centimeters. It is not a sensor reading.
The blade adds those passes. Set a hone line and a replace line. When you hone, the count since the last hone starts over and the total stays. When you fit a new blade, both counts start over. Edit a record, or delete it, and the blade count moves with that pass count.
Recent estimates on a zone read as one line: sitting on target, rising, falling, or mowed late. On the due morning, the phone can remind you at 8:00. The reminder is scheduled on the device from the last mow date plus the interval.
Grass Log has four places: the board of zones, the mow log, blade care, and the days between cuts. It works without an account, and it does not use the network.
