Genuine Masterpiece
Graversal was recommended to me by a friend for its unique gravity gameplay as well as its interesting level designs. The game did not disappoint and is a truly a contender for Game of Year. While other games have a tendency to be very repetitive with the same patterns again, again, again, and again; Graversal gives a fresh new take to the platforming genre with thought provoking levels requiring strategy and critical thinking. A genuine technical marvel and a massive step forward in the platform genre. Among the other platformers in the genre, they all miss one piece that Graversal has in spades: passion. The developer for Graversal demonstrates his passion and genuine care for the art they produce and is something that is desperately needed in the gaming industry. While many games causes players to riot for its terrible programming, Graversal is in a league of its own with its absolute spectacular care for the fundamentals of gaming.
