So much fun and learning
As a family we are enjoying this app. We will run across an event and that will bring up other questions so we end up learning something every time
it will never make waves
I’m disappointed
Useful tool
Been using it for years. Very nice. One suggestion: it would be good if the database could be searched (e.g., show all Vera Rubin circulars). Maybe it’s the already and I don’t know how to access it.
Perspective
There’s nothing like the news of a cataclysmic collision in deep space to put all earthly concerns into perspective.
Fun app
Fun and educational receiving real time alerts on gravitational waves coursing through our time and space.
Gravitational waves app
This is in fact the coolest thing ever!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Must have!
Essenntial app to be preppared for the arrival of a massive-destructive gravitational wave. Martin The Martian always keep me alerted on crisis situations.
New Science at its best
Exciting & field breaking gravitational wave detection will become the new telemetry as did all the other scopes. LISA funding is more important than ever, just saying!
Best Way to See Black Holes
…is to hear them!
The ultimate linked in…
Straight up top-drawer info source for real time data detailing actual warps in the space we inhabit, all around us, as immersed as it gets.
(There; feel that? Maybe just a fraction of the diameter of a proton, but it’s the real thing. Some fun, eh?)
Einstein would be tickled pink…

Fun
Toured Hanford and was amazed by the technology. Then I asked “where’s the indication that the detector saw something” and was astonished when told that the facility had no such readout. Looking back I’m guessing everyone there had this app on their phone. Great work and thank you for sharing!
Inscrutable
Unless one is involved w LIGO there’s little useful info presented to a civilian.
I am so offended.
I got banned for saying three things that were “not relevant.” I did not cuss or say anything inappropriate. I deeply respect science.
Almost perfect
I’m just a curious amateur who has believe in the LIGO initiative and team since long before they became main stream. The work has and will change our perception and knowledge of our universe for years to come. It would be nice if the app indicated the masses of the involved objects. 😎
Really cool app
Cool to get it in real time. I wish there was more explanation though, lots of jargon, explain the graphs etc.. also, we can’t login to the site that is linked because it seems to not be for “regular” users. Would love to be able to download the notification sound too! Awesome content though nice to see.

Best app for gravity waves
If knowing what cataclysmic events happened billions of years ago is interesting, this is where the information and the alerts are.
GW. Learning new astronomy
What a great way to learn about gravity waves. Love the app.
Review
As a medical scientist as opposed to a physical scientist I feel privileged to be allowed access to this information. I am learning a lot and hope to continue to increase my literacy on the science of gravitational wave events. Thank you for making this available.
Real Time Notification of Gravitational Wave Detections!
Love that anyone can receive alerts of gravitational wave detections. I even love the special chirp sound. The discussion section is great to get good recommendations of new publications and papers. Thank you for helping non-gravitational experts learn more about this fascinating field.
Great App for Gravity Waves
If you want access to messages that the professionals use to discuss what is going on this is the app for you. You will get an alert 20 seconds after an event happens. Excellent interface too.
