Comprehensive information
I’ve had the app since mid-June. I liked it then for the variety of info - ex. Wind speed/ direction graph for next 24 hours, localized weather where I am, not where the airport is several miles away, the Time Machine so I can go back to a place and time and see the weather on that date. These were among the features that attracted me. Now the app has so much more. With the inclusion of the real time map, with multiple views and types of information, and the ability to scan all the globe, I can look to my old home in El Paso, or my grandfather’s home in Italy, or where my daughter is traveling in Ireland -and see the rain and storm patterns there. Another big reason I love this app is that the the features and info are easy to find. Great work Third Floor!

Clean, intuitive weather app
Really enjoy the UI of GrayCloud. If you enjoyed Dark Sky, this is a great alternative.
Feature rich
Simple looking and reminiscent of fan favorite DarkSky, but drill down in this app and it is feature packed with NWS and NOAA data. Love all of the data cards, alerts and forecast discussions. Super responsive developer too. Great weather app to have.
Dark Sky revival …
…and it almost may be even better. Such a simple interface backed with a wealth of data and information that is easy to get to. With the source data coming from the NWS it’s also super accurate. The developer is very receptive and active as well. Good stuff.
Great app, poor pricing practices
I used to use this app daily because of the amazing UX and lack of data collection. I was considering subscribing until I saw that the free tier was changed to no longer allow for unlimited saved locations with zero disclosure about the update. I get it - usage costs can be high - but it’s a sketchy move to try and change it and hope people don’t notice.
