You put it on a lift, work out the fault, check whether the part is on your shelf - and the customer either drives away happy or walks out and tells the street about it. WHAT YOU DO - Diagnose faults: oil services, brake pads, wheel alignment, suspension, engine swaps, gearbox rebuilds, bodywork and paint, EV servicing, classic restorations - Buy lifts, hire mechanics, upgrade your shelves so you never turn a job away - Order parts at three grades - cheap parts come back under warranty, genuine ones never do - Set your labour rate: cut it to fill the queue, raise it and watch your reputation - Take loans, watch the interest, stay clear of the seizure line - Buy out the neighbours one unit at a time until the whole street is yours A FULL DAY, EVERY DAY The shop opens in the morning and closes at night. Deadlines are real - deliver late and the fee gets docked. At closing you get a plain account of the day: repair income, wages, rent, interest, and the customers you lost.
