Bad app

Why? Make this. Like a personal picture book , that’s all!

Poorly done

Nothing is free to even see if want to purchase the pro services. Based on reviews others state not to waste the money! Happy to pay if I knew what I was paying for. Deleting it as there is absolutely nothing of value.

Who is giving this 5 stars

I’m not sure who is giving this app 5 stars. The description says it’s free but don’t believe it. Any of the categories you click for more information require an in app purchase. I’ll be deleting as soon as I finish this review.

Too many IAPs

The first two categories I wanted to look at—maps and hiking—require separate purchases, and it asks for your email before letting you view anything, but there’s no actual login, and no choice to disallow spam.

Cannot read

All of the text is a light grey on a white background. This makes it impossible to read anything.

Don’t waste your money

Wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. There’s less information on the app than there is on the site. Save your $3 and buy a paper map while there.

Waste of money

I. Bought the app because it said you could explore the area before traveling there. The only thing I can see are pictures. Any time I look for anything else, I get a prompt to upgrade. Useless.

Trash!!!!

Can’t use it at all till you upgrade. Trash trash trash trash trash trash trash don’t get it

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry you have had a bad experience with the app. We are trying to improve it in a daily basis. As you may know there are many revenue models within the apps and we have decided to use the freemium model (free to download with locked content). We have never implied anything other than that. Even if you look at the app store page, it says that the app contains In App Purchases and it shows a price for each one of them.

Waste of money

Truly worthless. Keeps wanting you to pay money for more info - wish id read the reviews first. Save your $$$. Got a reply from the developer telling me to buy the upgrade and to get back to them if I needed anything else. I actually had bought the upgrade prior to writing my review. And yet I STILL DELETED THE WHOLE PROGRAM. *********EDITED COMMENT. Worse yet- the developer keeps responding to my review by telling me I only have to make one payment to upgrade. Did I stutter when I said I had paid for the upgrade and it was still worthless??? Now I know why the app is worthless- the developer can’t read!!

Response from developer

Thank you very much and we are sorry the hear that. It is only 1 payment to unlock the content. The reason behind this is for travelers to be able to enjoy everything in an offline mode without paying for roaming charges while they travel. Even being able to use geolocalization capabilities such as GPS or Augmented Reality without being connected to your cell phone provider. We hope you understand and if you have any other question, please do not hesitate to get back to us. Thank you.

Very Disappointing

This app is nothing more than a bait-N-switch as they say the app is free, but you can't do anything with the app unless you pay the $2.99 once you're in the app!!! If you need to charge, charge, but don't lie about it to get me to download the app!

Pickup map

Don't waste your money. Pickup a map at the information center.

Not free

You have to pay to use any of the features.

Don't waste your time

Pay app in disguise. Nothing there unless you pay!!

Very disappointed

Pushes you to buy a map before allowing you to enter app. Then about all you have is a picture of the map and short ride ups of information easily available online.

Sneaky - deceptive.

Disguised as a free app, it FORCES you to purchase and download maps in order to even use the app — seriously, I was held hostage until I purchased a map, couldn’t even go to other parts of the app. Once I purchased the maps and went into the app, I found it to be little more than a few pages of information that could easily be found on the web. Definitely defies the adage “you get what you pay for.” You don’t in this case.
