Great music but keeps cutting out.
We moved over the GHR when Ken joined. Initially it was really good, so we paid for ad free.
For the last 6 months we’ve had nothing but trouble with it constantly cutting out-every other song at best. Sometimes it will come back on and others you have to ask Alexa to play it again. It isn’t the devices because other stations don’t cut out at all.
We have reported it a number of times but nothing has improved. We are going to cancel our subscription.

Why GHR so popular
If you want to know why Greatest Hits Radio listener numbers grow and a national radio station’s audience number is shrinking the answer is the Dark Lord, Ken Bruce, Simon mayo, Richard Alison and now Zoe Ball.
Password
How do you change the password and get the app to accept it? I've had a dozen attempts at changing the password and computer says no! What am I doing wrong? Does anyone else have that problem? Every other app I use I have no issues at all, in fact it's very easy. This app really is v frustrating!
Greatest Duds Radio 80’s
Trialing the GHR 80’s premium as I hate adverts, it really interrupts the flow. So far loving the advert free tunes but the 80’s was 10 years, how come you play the same songs every day, there’s some right old duds occasional crackers, and the repeat offenders. I’d love more New Age / Punk and Alternative 80’s.

Trying to get through to request music for our 50th wedding anniversary

Some days are worse than others, but not a day goes by when I don’t have to go back into the app on Rayo.

I switched to GHR when Ken Bruce joined the station and I’ve stayed with it ever since.
The music selection fits my taste very well and I love listening to the Ken Bruce show and Simon Mayo’s drive time show, especially the All Request Friday show. Great station that is going from strength to strength.

Premium payments
Premium is advertised too much and is much too expensive. Greedy pricing
Too many ads
Too many ads including non stop internal ads on the cash prizes, which generate the profits for the owner - intensely irritating and have stopped listening as a result

App is very poor not all functions work and I have paid for premium can’t listen to the main station as goes wrong after a few minutes and will drop connectivity all the time NOT a happy customer Would not recommend
Wading through the adverts
It takes too long to watch the adds before you can start playing the radio. The app is biased towards clicking on ads.
Crashes…every…single…time
I am unsure how this app has such a good rating. I use it for pop master and every single day it crashes at the minimum once per episode, today it has excelled itself and crashed 8 times in a row while trying to load a single episode.
Restricted Playlist
Unfortunately, even though it is supposed to be hits from the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s the same songs are played for a period of time then another playlist is created that is again played constantly.

Hate then adverts when logging on
I hate that we now get ads when logging on as it takes ages and CarPlay won’t play so have to use the phone. Also app buffers in a low signal area.

Love listening to GHR.. always my favourite radio from Rossie through to Ken Simon Jackie and Andy Crane
