Advert free - sort of
The app is sensitive and every now and again it ‘forgets’ that you have paid for a premium service which is meant to be advert free. The only way is to delete the app and to reinstall. If you listen on two separate devices you enter a world of pain. To add insult to injury recently the app only connects you to the show after a splash advert irrespective of your premium ’service’. So, there are some good presenters but the biz department are dishonest about advert free service. I’m 50/50 about whether to continue with them.

App is very poor not all functions work and I have paid for premium can’t listen to the main station as goes wrong after a few minutes and will drop connectivity all the time NOT a happy customer Would not recommend

See above. Everytime you open the app you get stuck in an advert loop.

Why does a radio station require an account?
Why does a radio station require an account with all your personal information? Radio was always great and free and as a trade off we’d have to listen to ads. So why does it need your personal details other than to sell them to the highest bidder? In forcing you to give up said details i can only think its working the wrong way where they’re not getting the number of listeners who aren’t hearing the ads.

Terrible app
Always logging off. Doesn’t list latest shows, often 1-2 weeks out of date. Adverts on start up despite the fact that this is a paid subscription! Truly bad! Please fix this!!!
Signing in issue
I cannot log in to my premium account from my computer and listen to live shows …but I can listen off my iPhone app. What is going on?

Great music but keeps cutting out.
We moved over the GHR when Ken joined. Initially it was really good, so we paid for ad free.
For the last 6 months we’ve had nothing but trouble with it constantly cutting out-every other song at best. Sometimes it will come back on and others you have to ask Alexa to play it again. It isn’t the devices because other stations don’t cut out at all.
We have reported it a number of times but nothing has improved. We are going to cancel our subscription.

If you want to know why Greatest Hits Radio listener numbers grow and a national radio station’s audience number is shrinking the answer is the Dark Lord, Ken Bruce, Simon mayo, Richard Alison and now Zoe Ball.
Password
How do you change the password and get the app to accept it? I've had a dozen attempts at changing the password and computer says no! What am I doing wrong? Does anyone else have that problem? Every other app I use I have no issues at all, in fact it's very easy. This app really is v frustrating!
Greatest Duds Radio 80’s
Trialing the GHR 80’s premium as I hate adverts, it really interrupts the flow. So far loving the advert free tunes but the 80’s was 10 years, how come you play the same songs every day, there’s some right old duds occasional crackers, and the repeat offenders. I’d love more New Age / Punk and Alternative 80’s.
