Having issues
Please review information provided says fast free when it should be strict fast. I use this as gospel and it’s not accurate lately.

Fasting calendar always wrong
This calendar for fasting is always wrong. When I compare with the apps that my priest recommends and it shows strict fasting then I click into this one it says the day is fast free? How can this be? The reason I use these apps is to be true to the fasting periods so I can plan ahead and for my spiritual canons of the fasting days to prepare for the Eucharist. The fasting days need to be accurate. Please address and fix this

Very rarely it will show the days of fasting or not fasting days are not correct.
Bad for fasting planning
Got this for the fasting aspect as not at all religious. Though the subscription would have more ease for planning out fasts but not worth the money wasted. No way to easily look at a calendar to plan meals around fasting. You have to tediously scroll through day by day and it resets to January 1 anytime you try to go to a new day. Also doesn’t seem to include Wednesday and Friday fasts in its daily recommended fasting times.

Great App. Few Bugs
Love this concept for an App. Subscribed and well worth it.
There are a couple dates in 2024 incorrectly labeled strict fast (2/24) and (3/2). I also wish there was a full calendar view to look ahead. The search date function is a little clunky.

Curious omission
A good app but does not contain the entire epistle reading!
Doesn’t work
Really wanted to use this app and purchase subscription. The link to buy doesn’t work and there’s no developer contact option via app or linked tumblr site. If the developer could add his contact info so users could help “develop” this into a functional app, that would help some.
Disappointed 😢
When the app came out we had name search and the nameday of the day They took away the name search Now they’ve taken away the nameday of the day. Those were the only functions I used. The app is now obsolete unless you are willing to pay. Google has that info.

Perfect worship companion
Simple in concept but very well in implementation. Nearly everything one needs besides a prayer book for daily prayer, devine liturgy and the great fasts! When bugs arise they are addressed promptly & thoroughly
Did like it until it changed to subscription.
Loved this app but had to delete it once it went to subscription. Everything I had for free I would have to pay for. To bad.

In addition to the problem mentioned in the earlier review the reminder feature does not work. The new ecclesiastical calendar just started and I still can’t set reminders.
Summary of Saints Life
The app is great however there should also be a summation of the saints life on the day including other celebrations and what they mean
Orthodox Christian Calendar
I downloaded this app mainly to keep track of the fasts. I don’t read the daily readings because they only contain the Gospels . I prefer to read the complete daily scriptures/Saint of the day so I must go to the OCA website. I am grateful to find more Orthodox Christian apps in the Apple Store. Thank you. Christ Is Risen! ☦️

As a Greek Orthodox person with minimal support from family members (due to their lack of knowledge) this app has opened a new and valued source of information to our religion.

The only issue I have is the inability to transfer celebrated names to my calendar. In all fairness I don't know if the issue is on my end or the apps.
Overall, very good app. Still a great app refer to it very often and all the bugs are fixed!
