Very Helpful App.

This app comes in real handy for quick referencing and for double checking on the verb forms, etc. I highly recommend it!

Best app for verbs in Greek!

When I learned Spanish, I got the 501 verbs in Spanish book and would memorize whole pages. Unfortunately / fortunately Greek is a lot more difficult and doesn’t really lend itself to a book format like this (though I have purchased several). This app is great in many ways but what I like best is the way it links the active and passive forms of a verb so that you can toggle back-and-forth between the two pages with one tap. I also really love the favorites feature - my list is growing, sort of! Finally, the layout is clear and easy to read. Great job!

Expensive but Very Good

I hesitated to spend the money but am glad I did. It’s very useful. I’m still a beginner and haven’t discovered refinements including the subjunctive but expect that the app will guide me when I come to it.
Some explanation of the classes (A’, B’) would be useful.
I would like a dictionary which would do the same for nouns, e.g. it would tell me that the genitive of η είσοδος is εισόδου.

This has hugely improved my experience learning Greek

Having a decent verb list/conjugator has been incredibly helpful. It’s just as important as having a good dictionary, and this app does the task well.

The UI is much cleaner and more responsive than other apps I’ve found, which is really important when trying to understand a large or complicated text. The verb list has been sufficient for me so far.

One thing I would love to have is more options for searching. When you see an irregular verb it’s sometimes hard to tell what the present first person singular form is, so it would be useful if searches could be optionally expanded to allow other forms. E.g. To search for πήρα and find παίρνω.

Some sort of regular expression or glob search might help as well. For example if I search for ζώ then the search results include every verb containing «ζω», so I need to scroll a lot to find what I’m after! Similarly if, for example, I only have the aorist with its augment, and don’t know exactly which vowels (η, ει, ε or α?) will be used in the present first person singular.

Very useful app

I use this all the time when I am working for my Greek evening class and find it really helpful.
