Too Many Ads
Self explanatory. Even for subscribers, this app will randomly switches to my browser to show ads that were not clicked when I’m just trying to read an article. Disappointing and frustrating. I will not be continuing my subscription because of it.

What happened to proof reading?
On occasion, titles are given for articles but the body of the articles are only partially there or no article at all is to be found.
Like this app
Great way to read the paper. When done you don’t have any paper to get rid of.
Great hometown newspaper
I like to read all the local news and comics. However for my national news I prefer the NYT.
UPDATE: Don’t Need the E-Newspaper App
UPDATE: Changes were made to this app, including much easier printing, that make it just as easy to use as the old app. The settings allow you to choose your default tab, so I’ve set it to open to the print version. It works just as well, now, as the old app.
Gannet decided to eliminate its dedicated app for subscribers to read the electronic version of the newspaper. They incorporated the functionality into this app - and it’s awful. Printing, which we do for the puzzles, now takes five or six steps instead of one. If I magnify the page to read, like obituaries, it jumps repeatedly to the previous article unless I’m very, very cautious with how I move the screen. And of course, now we have ads popping up, which was probably the reason for the change.
Granted, this is my first experience with reading the enewspaper on this app, but I hate it. If you can’t bring the other app back, please fix these issues pronto!! I have been a subscriber for at least 30 years.

I use 2 different IPADS to read the digital newspaper but can not get one of the IPADS to open the App.
Old App Better
Previous app much easier to navigate, easier to enlarge print, and better organized. I’ll be using older app!
Balance of Content
I live north west of Green Bay, almost two hours and appreciate your story section for local stories. Though not living in Green Bay, a number of your stories answer what I would think are common questions for residents about “what ever happened to”. I marvel at the depth and quantity of coverage about the Packers and like the addition of a mini USA Today for broader news and sports coverage.

It’s so nice to be able to read the paper anytime from anywhere. The availability is one of the best features.
Unresponsive
Subscribed thru iTunes on 2/13/2025. Immediately started receiving emails and notifications I didn’t request nor want. Have tried unsuccessfully to unsubscribe for several weeks using the unsubscribe feature in the email and in settings. Also can’t access games without another subscription to that service. I was told by their Philippines call center it was because I subscribed through 3rd party (iTunes). Compared to my other news subscriptions - WSJ, NYT, WP - this organization is the pits

New online newspaper app
The Green Bay Press Gazette had an app that worked perfectly well and I enjoyed it very much. This new app is terrible. It is not intuitive. Sending copies of articles or comics is so much more complicated. It is almost impossible. I don’t know why they couldn’t have just left a good thing alone.
Subscription Active?
I have no idea if my online subscription is active or not. All I see is a blue box that says “processing”. I have no idea what I’m being charged and customer service couldn’t help me because they said my subscription goes through my iTunes account so they can’t see it.
Bring back the print app
I used the Green Bay Press Gazette Print app and loved it. It gave me the look of the print version and I could click on the articles to open them. I hate this app!! Bring back the print app!

App is totally useless
Have a digital subscription and can login on a web browser, the app for the newspaper however doesn’t recognize subscription. Totally useless App.
Opening the e-edition
Some days, like today of the paper does not open. Highlighted stories are usually available, but the e edition will not open.

Please add the same sports section as the Milwaukee journal sentinel. Badger, bucks, Marquette.
