This app uses data on the water, ecological and climatic footprint of the main foods, making it known how many liters of water and square meters of land are used, as well as how many kilos of Co2 Equivalent are produced to produce 1kg of the selected food.
The data was made available by OurWorldinData.org, a non-profit organization made up of researchers, scientists and authors who make their studies and research public and accessible to all, under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY) for the benefit of all humanity (*).
After the due acknowledgments, we believe it is important to underline that the list that we submit to you with GREEN FORKS - Stand App 4 Climate is not exhaustive, but it will still be able to be a reliable guide to your food choices, should you decide to follow a sustainable that leaves a lighter footprint on our planet. As new data becomes available, they will be entered and the app updated.
