500 dollar mistake
Bought diesel today at Pilot station right off I-95 and SC 327. Several pumps were out so after waiting and finally getting to pump I entered my Greenlane info to start pump. When I removed the nozzle the hose disconnected and feel to the ground. Had to go inside to see cashier then go back and get in line at another pump. Finally got to another pump and started process again. After topping off with 30 gallons I went back in to get receipt and was told my cash advance for $502 dollars was denied but I was charged for that and the $ 143 of diesel I had pumped. After much confusion and trying to charge me twice the cashier called his HQ and was assured everything was fixed. I only hope it was fixed so I don’t get charged for a cash advance that I didn’t ask for.

On the cash advance side, we do not allow cash advances on our card, so you never have to worry about that being added through us. They charge you for the service fee 2.29% it’s crazy 😡 u can’t really save anything and most of the time no response for phone call 😡 I don’t really recommend

Misleading Savings and Service Fees
The advertised savings are misleading. The app calculates the discount from a price that does not match the actual pump price. On top of that, they charge a service fee, which reduces the real savings even further. After comparing everything, the actual savings are much smaller than advertised. Be sure to check the real pump price and do the math before assuming you’re saving as much as they claim.

The pump screens don’t match station to station which is not fault of app but the user experience is not great.
Diesel Discounts
Just started using Greenlane for our RV after using other discount diesel apps. I compare all of them and Greenlane has had the best discounts. The process is easy and locations have been good. Customer support has also been good.

When fueling and I try to put money from my account onto the card, it says I have to wait two or three days before the money is in available. Well that doesn’t help me, I need the money now not in two days. If you’re not gonna change how I’m able to get money onto my card faster, than I’m glad I’ve got Open Roads where I don’t have that problem.

We live in our RV and travel full time. We have always used Open Roads for fuel savings. We recently got set up with Greenlane and now we compare apps to see which one will yield the cheapest diesel. In MOST occasions, Greenlane is cheapest. Having the ability to pre-fund your “Wallet” in the app allows us to buy fuel with absolutely no fees of any kind. I’m not aware of any other app that allows for that. Sure, funding the wallet means that money is no longer “ours” to use, and we don’t receive interest. But when you KNOW you are traveling, it’s worth it to keep money in there. Even if you pay via a traditional method, it’s cheap.

Good prices
Greenlane provides for good pricing and low fees if you use the wallet refill from a checking account. Not as big a network as open roads.
