Updates after 3 years! I’ve used this app frequently and I now see they are supporting higher resolution exports. I hope this app is picked up again by the developer and more features added. Thank you! Love the simplicity of the app.

I need

I would like it to take images from both my camera roll AND my saved folder in my IG. and I need it to capture video, not just a still image.

FAQ

What does Grid-it do?

Grid-it is a photo splitting app designed to help you create visually striking mosaics and carousels for your Instagram profile. It allows you to divide a single image into multiple tiles, which are then uploaded to Instagram in a specific order to form a larger, cohesive image on your profile grid.

How do I create a photo mosaic with Grid-it?

First, choose your desired layout (e.g., 3x1, 3x4). Then, upload your photo and use the app's tools to rotate, crop, and zoom as needed. Grid-it will then slice your image into perfectly sized tiles. A simple guide will show you how to upload each tile to Instagram in the correct sequence, resulting in a mosaic masterpiece on your profile.

Is Grid-it free to use?

Yes, Grid-it is available for free and includes ads. If you prefer an ad-free experience, you can remove the advertisements with a simple in-app purchase.

What are the benefits of using Grid-it for Instagram?

Using Grid-it can significantly elevate your Instagram presence by transforming your profile into a captivating gallery. It allows you to create professional-looking photo montages and utilize Instagram's carousel feature to tell a story across multiple swipeable frames, all while preserving the high quality of your images.
