The μGrid Manager or The Microgrid Manager provides insightful information of a remote microgrid on how it operates from an energy management perspective. Besides performing as a local control unit, Micro Energy Management System (μEMS) is a crucial automation platform that pushes/fetches data to/from a dedicated cloud service for further processing. Key microgrid components consist of a photovoltaic system, an energy storage system, a wind generator, a power conditioning system, a diesel generator, a weather station, an energy meter, and other types of equipment. Automatic data engineering pipelines are in place for ultimate analytics.
