A much easier way to design a rooftop. This update rebuilds how you lay out a site. Placing objects and panels is quicker and more forgiving — clearer controls, better snapping, and edits you can adjust rather than redo. 1. Roof on roof. Real raised roofs, not just blocks in the way. Draw a roof over an existing one, set its height, and place panels on it exactly as you would on the roof below. Shadows, heights and the 3D model all follow. 2. Tilted roofs. Mark the high and low edges of a sloped or tin-shed roof and the panels sit along the slope, with the structure worked out for you. 3. Better panel tables. Live guides while you adjust row-to-row gaps, tilt and azimuth, so you can see the spacing as you change it. Pillar heights are now always measured from the base roof, so the numbers stay put wherever you move a table. 4. A detailed generation report. A full energy study for the design you just drew — annual and month-by-month output, specific yield, performance ratio, where the losses go, and a 25-year projection, all in a report you can share with the customer. 5. Now on the web. Open the same account and the same projects in your browser and keep working on a bigger screen. 6. A sharper 3D view. Lighter, faster-loading models and a cleaner site view to walk your customer through.
