What's New in Gridiron Dynasty

1.3

September 5, 2026

Build your program across generations. Facilities: a new Facilities tab where you invest Program Funds into your Stadium, Training Center, and Recruiting Complex - each making your program stronger. Funds come in every season from your stadium, wins, and prestige, but every building ages a little each year, so keep reinvesting - and rival programs are building right alongside you. In the offseason you get a full breakdown of how you earned your funds and how your buildings aged. Buildings stay with the program across coaching changes and retirements. Game-day atmosphere: every home game now draws a crowd sized by your stadium, how you are playing, the opponent, and the stakes. Rivalry games and big matchups pack the house for a bigger home-field edge and more revenue. Every program now has a rival - watch for the RIVALRY badge on your schedule. The Gridiron Wire: a new News tab styled like a real newspaper - your game leads the front page, followed by league news that changes every week: a new number one, the upset of the week, the Heisman race, and the unbeaten watch. Game Analytics: a breakdown of your team by unit and your season splits, plus a "how to improve for next week" advisor with tips tailored to your team. Also fixed a bug where retiring and starting a new coach could carry over the previous coach's record. New coaches now start with a clean resume. Thanks to everyone on Discord for the ideas - keep them coming.

Opinion

The game is good and well made but it feels borderline impossible if you try to start with a bad team and become good

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback! Building a struggling program into a contender is meant to be very challenging, but you're right, it shouldn't feel impossible. I'm going to dig into the rebuild path and make climbing from the bottom more rewarding and achievable in an upcoming update. Updates are coming often, so please stick with it!

My opinion

I think all players shouldn’t have over powered stats development should be way better people shouldn’t have so similar names and also even if you transfer schools you should be able to see players drafted that you coached and more awards

Response from developer

Thank you for the 5 stars and the awesome feedback, you basically called the next update! Everything you mentioned is handled, player stats and scoring were running hot, so they've been rebalanced to realistic levels (no more overpowered numbers or 40+ point blowouts every game). You'll also see far more name variety with fewer repeats, new awards including Coach of the Year and Freshman of the Year, and the Coaching Career page now tracks every player you coached who got drafted and it follows you even when you change schools, so you never lose your draft tree. Thanks for helping make the game better. Hope you enjoy the update!

Why is there no 3rd quarter

I really like the game but after halftime it just skips to the fourth quarter

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback! I found the bug and it will be fixed on the upcoming update.
