About

Gridlock is a color-gated sliding-block puzzle: the grid is packed edge to edge, and the only way out is through a gate that matches your block's color. HOW IT WORKS Drag a block along open lanes — nothing lifts, nothing jumps, nothing overlaps. Line a block up with a border gate of its own color and it slides free. Every level starts fully blocked in: your job is to work out the sequence that opens a path, one shift at a time, until the board is empty. 120 LEVELS, REAL PAR SCORES All 120 campaign levels were solved by a computer solver before shipping, so the par shown on each one is a true minimum, not a guess. Match it for 3 stars, beat the midpoint for 2, finish at all for 1. Difficulty climbs across 10 tiers, and the later ones are built so nothing can exit until you find one specific, non-obvious opening move — figuring that move out is most of the puzzle. BLOCK TYPES THAT CHANGE THE PUZZLE - Locked blocks stay frozen until enough other blocks have exited - Rainbow blocks ignore color and fit any gate - Stone blocks never move and never leave — you plan the whole solution around them RUN OUT OF MOVES, USE THE HAMMER Each level has a move limit. If you're stuck mid-level, the Hammer removes one block on the spot (it counts toward clearing locks); if you run out of moves entirely, it converts into five extra moves instead. ONE PUZZLE A DAY, WORLDWIDE The daily challenge is the same seeded board for every player on Earth, once a day, one attempt. Scores accumulate into a weekly leaderboard, so consistency across the week counts as much as any single great run. Short sessions, no timer, no gravity to fight — just a locked grid and a way out if you can see it. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
