Good information
Surprised to learn that the Ontario generation is usually more from gas than hydro. That is not what I want to see but I am grateful that this tool is available.

Concisely provides information of the ongoing, daily status of the Ontario electricity status.
Stop all the fake opinions
This is real, factual, straight forward information. Wish there was more info like this. Number of new homes completed each day. Or amount of money spent by each level of government daily. Or the wait times for a vaiety of surgeries in different hospitals in ontario.
Nice overview of how the power grid works!
Im so happy I stubbled upon this app! I love the detail of where our power is coming and every location of the sources in Ontario. Doesn’t seem to have an update for the last 3 years but hope to get an option to see a history of the power usage for the day or week instead of just the past hour!
Insightful information
This app gives you a real time visualization of electrical generation in Ontario’s grid. It does this very well. My wish list item would be to get longer term views of the same information.
Ontario energy production app
Really insightful as to what’s going on in real time with our energy production. Has caused me to re-evaluate actual value of very inconsistent solar production.

This thing is great if you have an interest in energy and industry. If not, well, it’s still amazing they can do this.
Energy Science for Everyone
This app has some really great features that make understanding the science behind the grid super simple and easy to understand. I appreciate the hourly updates on energy use and demand and it is really great to have all this info about energy production and the plants that create it in one place!

I use this app at least once a day, and everytime I talk to elementary school and high school students about nuclear energy!

Shows how little power (relative to the total) is being generated by solar and wind.
I have noticed that many smaller wind and solar farms are not being reported. This distorts the data - which is why I only give it 4 stars.
The app developer says that their information source does not provide data from smaller facilities.

Good app
There is some missing info on various generating sites. Other generators are simply missing whether due to mothballing or some other unknown reason.
