I love Grift
I downloaded Grift thinking it would be a casual little app, and now it has completely consumed my existence. I wake up thinking about Grift. I go to sleep thinking about Grift. If my phone is more than three feet away from me, I start wondering what I’m missing on Grift.
At this point, my wife has accepted that she is competing with an app for my attention. Honestly, if she ever left me because I was grifting too much, I’d understand — and I’d probably be writing this review from the Grift homepage. That’s how deep this obsession has gone.
I’ve canceled plans, ignored group chats, and accidentally turned every conversation into a recommendation for Grift. My friends don’t ask me what I’m doing anymore; they just assume the answer is Grift.
This is not an app. This is a lifestyle. A calling. A full-time emotional commitment. If you download Grift, just know there is a very real chance it will become your entire personality.
11/10. Five stars is not enough. I would give it my remaining free time, my attention span, and possibly my social life.
