Can’t find my grill anymore
I successfully used it twice. Now it can’t find my grill. Money down the tubes.
App failure
Worked great for a few months now it will not connect or find the grill. It does still send me notifications based on my settings I’ve set on the grill manually. Tried deleting app redownloading still won’t find grill.

This was the app that connects the pellet grill controller that I upgraded on my z-grills pellet grill. The app connected with my controller for exactly the first 2 uses of the grill after the controller was replaced and then it never can connect to the grill since. I would not recommend this app. I tried to reinstall the app and the app cannot find the controller.

No network
Keep loosing network connection on the app. Will change review when problem is fixed
Controller good, app bad
It worked pretty well until I had to get a new phone with IOS 26, not the app is useless. The controller is still rock solid. I guess I’ll cancel my subscription
Needs work
The control works as it should but whenever I want to see my history or use the charts it will not work whatsoever and most the time will crash the app
Ads are infuriating
Decent enough app. Controls are easy, intuitive, and the intention is good.
But we get faced with a splash screen “coupon” type add to go buy something all the time. Even on startup.
I’m on the free version, but even looking at the subscription- it doesn’t look like the splash screens and ad intrusion go away.
Why can’t we just have a one time buy and be done with the ads?
Takes longer to get through the skip option than it does to see my temp.
I was very thrilled with the app at first but am using less and less and can easily see me going back to life without it solely due to the ad/coupon intrusion.
As I said, intention is cool. Ads/coupons ruin it for me.

Money grabbing
Seriously? A subscription? I’m happy to pay a one time fee but it’s not like new features can come to it. It’s an app to control my grill.
Can’t get in app
I downloaded this after getting a new module for my smoker. When I try and sign up for the app I get an error of not authorized. This is useless
Fastest service in town!
2 days ago I wrote a review/ warning about the performance of this app under iOS26. Apple’s iOS26 update broke this app hard. Even though the controller was rock solid the app basically didn’t work at all. I went back and forth with the factory several times with them asking various questions, and today they issued a fix to the app and now it’s performing perfectly! I have never seen a company respond so fast (about 3 days) and fix an issue that could have affected thousands. GOOD JOB!

It’s gotten really flakey…. I blame ios26
I did a few smokes before upgrading to iOS26, and since then the app has gotten really flaky. The timer comes and goes on the screen, as well as the two temperate windows. The graph screen is there but essentially the only working control on the main screen is the oven temp. Smoke control doesn’t work either. Also the controls monitor the watches over temp, fan motor, auger motor, etc is likewise not displaying correctly.
So what I have is a great control with a remote that is not to be trusted.

Tried to get it to hook up to my phone no damn luck. I did everything I could to do to get hooked up. I like the new design. Oh well guess I manually set it and keep a eye on the cook

Hasn’t EVER WORKED. WiFi DOES NOT WORK! Troubleshooting followed to exact instructions and it just will not work. I should have known seeing as there are literally 6 reviews.
Very Useful App
I purchase an upgraded control panel for my Pit Boss PBV4PS1. The factory controller does not come with WiFi so I decided to upgrade. The GrillirG Control app does what I wanted and more. I can see the temperatures during a smoke, status of smoker itself and once whatever I am smoking reaches the temperature it needs to be to remove it I can shut the smoker off. The only thing I would like to see is the capability to turn the smoker on remotely enabled.
