Wont play any of the storyline
Every. Single. Timeeee….it jusf freezes like 5 seconds into a cutscene and i have to skip and miss all of the plot. Insane bc i paid $7😭

Brilliant…but
Bought this as part of a 3 game deal and was loving everything about it! The voices are wonderful and enhance the cool vibe, the HOPs are logical but challenging. Storyline seems great. Animation/Art is brilliant.
But…there is a major glitch. In the Downtown area, where you are meant to be creating the disguise, the area where you are meant to create the wig closes down and becomes inaccessible before you can complete the job. This locks all further progress. Will reset and try again, leaving the hidden creature there to see if this solves the issue, but it’s a long way into the game for a restart. 100% would be 50/5 without this major flaw.

Not Such a Grim Legend 👍🏻
This is another great title from this developer, living up to its own standards regarding creativity and quality. As with most Artifex Mundi titles, you get your money’s worth in gameplay. (I feel many approach these $6-$7 games with unrealistic expectations.) The gameplay is long and unhindered by the beautifully detailed artwork. There are a few moments in which objects and/or actions required were a bit of a stretch — I love a good challenge and welcome the opportunity to get “stuck” on a puzzle or task for prolonged periods of time, but the satisfaction of succeeding is greatly diminished if the answer you find is nonsensical. Regarding mini-games, many of them were more like ‘adjustments’ rather than actual ‘games’ or ‘puzzles’ (if that makes sense). As previously mentioned, I don’t mind getting stuck on these mini-games and puzzles — sadly, I found many of them within this title to be far too simple and required little to no problem-solving skills or extensive thought to complete. Considering the bigger picture, these are minor issues and certainly not reasons to overlook this title. This was a great game with a great story and well worth the $7, in my opinion.

Fun Hidden Object Mystery Game
Bought the 3-game bundle and just finishing up Game 3. It’s awesome. I don’t usually buy games but social distancing makes this purchase well worth it.

Really great story. Art wonderful. I worked hard to get all of the collectibles and was thrilled when I got the last one. Map was good. Games were good but I got tired of the spell casting ones - there were too many for me. HOPs were clear and detailed. Will definitely play the series.
