Subjects, publishers, and a much tidier library. SUBJECTS • Browse your library by subject — pulled straight from your EPUBs, PDFs and comics • Merge variants like "Science Fiction", "science fiction" and "SF" under one name; your choice survives a rescan • Delete subjects you don't want, and optionally remove them from the book files themselves • Pin your favourite subjects to the home screen PUBLISHERS • A section of their own, with every book per publisher and a bit of their history • Merge different spellings of the same publisher under one name • Look up missing details online, just like for authors GETTING YOUR LIBRARY IN ORDER • Add several books at once, or a whole folder or USB drive, with progress you can follow • Let the app find books with missing details and fill them in • Track down damaged EPUBs • Books with more than one author can now be edited, and "Christie, Agatha" counts as one name again READING • The reading controls have been rebuilt: one close button in a fixed spot, a panel that always fits the screen, and a slider that runs through the whole book • The table of contents shows subheadings and actually jumps to the chapter you pick • Your reading position is kept more reliably, even if you close a book quickly or lock the screen • Audiobooks no longer skip chapters BUGS fixed many bugs got flattened in this release, including: • A server address without https:// now works the way the screen promises • Network problems tell you what went wrong, not just that something did • You can send your own HTTP headers, for example for Cloudflare Zero Trust. this is experimental and currently only for the grimmer server option. The layout has been cleaned up too: without a Grimmory server, the options that need one disappear from the menu, and every book now shows where it came from. Plus a long list of fixes for books that vanished, came back, or showed each other's details — and noticeably faster lists.
