Bad review
I like the game. I really do. My low rate is because I can’t get past the part with the horse merry go round. The program locks up and I can’t do anything else. It won’t reset. Please free this up and maybe I can continue without deleting and reloading the game. Hate having to pay twice for a game I can’t finish 😠

Glitches Spoil Game.
At £6.99 I expect the game to at least work. I didn’t get even half way before the horses on the carousel froze the game everytime with awful static noises. Not worth the money and have applied for a refund. Save your money until the game and its glitches are sorted
Pathetically short and buggy
That was over in no time. And you have to restart a few times on the horse carousel before you realize it is glitchy and you have to skip it. Then there is the missing items in inventory. Blank spaces. So until you get frustrated and confused enough to tap the hint, then it shows you there was something there. Then the coloring the mask puzzle has to be the ONE way to color it, even if you get it right you fail if you do not use the right color where THEY USED IT. Even though you are still correct. I think someone owes me about $5 in refund here. It is a $2 game at best for how short it is. To post replies 7 months ago saying you are aware of the glitch and working hard to fix it? If I owned a business, I would not sleep until my buggy garbage was working perfect for my paying customers!

Pretty good until…..
Pretty good until you hit the carousel. You pick up a horse to move it to the right spot and then it glitches. I paid $7(USD) for this game. I know it might not seem to be a lot of money to some. I love playing these games and I when I have money that I can spend on myself I spend it on these games. I don’t expect that I can’t play then entirety of the game. I’m pretty bummed.

Unplayable on iPad, and App Support not available
I am at a point where the game freezes and there are no options to work around. The app support link goes to a 404. iPad users don’t bother with this.

Grim was grim
Interesting game, but with a flaw. Once I got the saddle for the horse and tried to switch the horses, it just started buzzing, like a short circuit and flashing. Could not reset, nor could I click on the menu, much less anything else. I had to completely get out of the game and re-enter it. Did no good. Cannot go on.

Grim tales Echo of the Past
I was very disappointed about this game. I really love all the Grim Tales that Elephant has come out except for Echo of the Past. Reasons has to do with the Carousel where you have change them out to their color.

Carousel glitch
Great game, but it glitches on the carousel mini game 🫤 please advise
Game breaking glitch
Unfortunately the game keeps glitching on the carousel puzzle. As soon as I try to move a horse it glitches between the two horses and then nothing works, no skip, no reset, no menu.
A shame as I’ve played most in this series and am a big fan. An update that fixes this would be great as I can’t progress any further.

Would have been 5 stars except the glitch
The carousel glitches no matter what you select and then you are stuck. Had to sit and wait for the skip to charge so I could just get past that puzzle. It seemed like it would have been a fun mini game. Hopefully, no more glitches as I continue.

Short and very glitchy
This storyline is fun and I’ve played the whole series, so I was glad to get this one. This chapter is schmaltzy. It has none of the horror and family intrigue that made the others good.
There are many glitches still with some of the mini-games that force you to skip. On one, I was able to complete one move (color symbol match), only to have the game lock up with a horrible sound. Each time I restarted, that move was remembered, but I could only execute one more move.
Also, items disappear in the inventory menu. The plus items show the plus sign, but nothing else. Remember what you pick up , otherwise you will have no idea why the map is directing you to a location that seems to have no available actions.

Gut, aber mit Macken
Irgendwie ist es traurig, dass es so viele tolle Spiele von Elephant Games gibt, aber davon so wenig auf deutsch. 😔
Dies ist jetzt das dritte Spiel aus der Grim Tales Reihe, dass ich auf englisch spiele. Auch wenn mein Englisch eher mittelmäßig ist, komme ich teilweise sehr gut klar.
(Aber wollen wir mal ehrlich sein, kennste eins, kennste alle. 😉)
Hier ist aber mal ein weiblicher Geist zur Hilfe da.
Da ich, auch in der deutschen Vision, die „Gespräche“ wegdrücke, da mich die nicht interessieren. Fehlt mir dahingehend nix.
Bei den Wimmelbildszene wird es aber etwas kniffliger. Manchmal tippe ich einfach wahllos auf dem iPad rum, aber bei einigen sind Umrisse vorgegeben und das macht es natürlich einfacher.
Leider hat dieses Spiel einige technische Mängel.
Ich bekam vom „Geist“ einen Gegenstand und der wurde in der Bestandsliste nicht angezeigt. Ich irrte im Spiel herum, weil ich den Gegenstand nicht sah, und daher mich wunderte, was ich denn als nächstes tun sollte. Bis auf „Tipp“ drückte und es mir gezeigt wurde. Und leider blieb es nicht bei dem einen Mal. 🙁
Dann hat sich das Spiel immer beim Karussell-Spiel aufgehängt. So dass ich es beenden musste und Neustarten. Leider kam ich nur weiter, wenn auf „Überspringen“ drückte. 🤷🏽♀️
Und dann hatte ich auch noch ein paar Mal schwarze Balken in einigen kurzen Szenen.
Also dafür, dass ich es nicht in meiner Sprache spielen konnte und dann noch so einige Hindernisse dem Spielspaß behinderten, muss ich sagen, war es nicht das Geld wert.
(Mit den anderen beiden, englischsprachigen Spielen, hatte ich nicht solche Probleme)

I enjoyed this game, but I do miss Richard in the series. There were no problems otherwise. Map work fine, storyline was okay but I’m thankful that you are giving us games to play.
Grim Tales 21: Echo of the Past by LynxMinx
Truthfully, I prefer Richard Grey in the form of a hilarious talking skull. The storyline felt disjointed. There was a lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface. However, the general gameplay was enjoyable and the mix of HO scenes and puzzles was nicely varied. There was a puzzle/ mini-game to suit every player. I felt that the game could have been longer for the price. Still this was a good solid game, and my rating will remain at 4 stars. I did not appreciate the huge scary rat in the bonus adventure!
Note to Elephant: I have a bone to pick with you. Instead of releasing new f2p games, why don’t you release them as full versions first? My population of iOS gamers won’t play them and if I tell players not to purchase, they tend to listen. I have thousands of followers. This population wants to OWN the games, so release your older games as f2p and give us NEW ones. We will buy them. So concentrate more on us and less on f2p! You haven’t had much success with them so far anyway. The players will definitely support me in regards to this matter!
