I paid for the full game and it won’t play I would like my money back
Touch not working
I’ve downloaded it twice, bought the paid version and restarted my phone. It is not working (not responding to the touch screen). How do I get a refund?

Can't Finish
The first time I played it it wouldn't let me finish the main game. This time I was on a plane and managed to play the main part but cannot finish the bonus game. The story was ok but not as good as the other Grim Tales games. If you buy it however, be prepared to play the whole thing in one sitting though.

In response to the reviewer who wonders if he played the same game played by the four and five star reviewers. I, too, found this game to be tedious, so tedious, in fact, that I deleted it without finishing. I play these type of games often. My practice, going forward, will be to first check the "critical" reviews and to rely only on these, and other reviews which resonate as legitimate.
Just an update. I'm sure many of you have seen non Big Fish options discussed in these reviews. The Five BN "Lost Lands" is good, as are some of the directly released Artifex Mundi, like "Eventide Slavic Fables". These games are identical in format to the usual BF fare, but better and more fairly priced. I just finished some really good games that are similar and worth checking out. The developer is Lone Wolf Games and I just played "Blackthorne Castle". It was a nice change. Very similar to the Fire Maple games. It just took playing a decent game to really drive home how lousy this, and many other recent BF series games have become. I've benefitted from other people making suggestions so hopefully these might be helpful to someone.

Eh...
Sadly I wasn't entertained by this one. It was difficult to follow and there was no logic behind it. I did not enjoy it one bit. The bonus game was a small bit more sensible and nicer than the actual game.

Do not like that had to give a review to continue playing. It's annoying. The game seems to be okay. Have played other games by this company and they were good, storyline and effects

The word final to this game I am hoping doesn't mean that the series is completed. This is one of the most challenging games to be played. I love every minute that this game captured my attention. This game is a five star game. Please continue the series.
Top-notch
This is the best BF game I've played in a long time. Sensible puzzles and great graphics. A map that works well. And a mystery to solve, too. Good fun.
Could be better
I'm sure this could be a fun game but EVERYTHING is so small on the iPhone version, I end up hitting Hint and Skip in every scene. I'm just gonna delete it.

I'm always puzzled when my experience with a game differs so much from others', but it appears to have happened. I thought this game was awful! The puzzles weren't intuitive and the game didn't flow like so many good games of this type. I prefer when there is a logical process rather than just trying to remember that the door by the fountain needs a skull, or something similar.
So I thought the game rather sucked.
Additionally, I continue to ponder why there are none of these games designed for men. As a longtime game player, I know there were few games with women for so long - but is the response to now offer no games with male leads?

UPDATED REVIEW: Glitches?? 1/2 way through the game??

I'm really upset that I'm halfway through and I'm suddenly unable to play anymore on my iPad. (W latest updates)
I started the app, it booted up to the continue to game screen and then - POOF! - black screen. 💻
As a long time gamer, I know every trick to try before having to reload the game.....that's the last resort and what I'm facing - so I'm not happy about that, and I hope it doesn't happen again. 😕

- although- the "puzzles within puzzle" are so awesome, more are needed, because it's not only challenging but you spend a long time solving, so it adds much more value to the game. I'd take those over the hum drum HO puzzles anyway.
Please fix the glitches. 😏

This Grim Tales is another fantastic hit 🎯in this series and has everything: crisp clear graphics, excellent puzzles and an exciting mystery storyline!! The detective/mysteries are my favorite, I love collecting/deciphering the clues and interactions with people.

So good!
Everything about this game was so well done! The story held my interest from start to finish, and of course, the graphics were outstanding. HO games were varied, and I especially loved the "layered" puzzles ( similar to those in Fates Carnival ).
Grim Tales: The Final Suspect
Big Fish has been on a roll lately -- great games. Big Fish is finally coming out of their hit and miss releases of games. This game is AWESOME! Elephant Games never disappoint me. Super graphics, engaging game play, good mix of puzzles and hidden object sections, great story, and small load times -- always a pleasure seeing that. Keep rolling on Big Fish and Elephant Games, and I'll keep on buying.
