I had been using Grindr successfully for a considerable period of time, both within the United States and while traveling internationally, without any previous issues or warnings.
However, while I was traveling in Colombia, my account was unexpectedly suspended just one day after I renewed and paid in advance for a full-year subscription. I was informed that my account had allegedly violated the platform’s policies, but I was not provided with any specific details, evidence, or explanation regarding the alleged violation.
I respectfully submitted an appeal and requested a fair review of my account. Unfortunately, my appeal was denied without meaningful clarification or an opportunity to address the specific concern. To the best of my knowledge, I have always used the platform responsibly and in accordance with its community guidelines.
I am requesting that Grindr conduct a thorough manual review of my account and reconsider its reinstatement. If the account cannot be restored, I believe I should receive a full refund for the unused annual subscription, especially considering that the suspension occurred only one day after the renewal.
I hope a member of Grindr’s support team will contact me directly to resolve this matter promptly and fairly. I am willing to provide any information necessary to verify my identity, account activity, and compliance with the platform’s policies.

I don’t particularly hate this app. It’s more than people using it that I don’t like. It’s full of fake people who can’t hold a conversation. Plus, there are some reckless POS. Doesn’t recommend.
