No more working for iOS13 and later. I had been waiting with hope app may work again.

Fails in iOS 14.4
... the only iOS version I've tried it with. Fails to set group ringtones. Can only access built-in ringtones. Would be terribly useful if it worked. Developer: How about an update?
Won't let me add people in groups

This app seemed to come up again and again when I looked for a solution to set a ringtone for all of my contacts.
I downloaded it - paid version- and was able to set a ring tone for all of my contacts. Then I added new contacts.... Nothing. The edit contacts screen didn't work right. The all contacts group didn't update even when I let it run for a long time.
I deleted the app figuring that since it worked the first time I would just reset it. It remembered it's old data upon reinstall.
The trick is that you have to change the current chosen ringtone and then change it back to what you want in order to trigger an update to the new contacts.

Inconsistent
The developer does not keep in step with iOS updates.
For the longest time the app crashed and than after a very long time support for iOS 11 was added.
Now the developer needs to add iOS 12 support!

AT LEAST GIVE US THE OPTION TO REINSTALL THE PREVIOUS VERSION.

Not working iOS 12 iPhone X
Tried I could make new group but could not add contacts to group.
I wish it worked.
I know this use to be a killer app but not on iOS 12. Update it please!!!! Spent much time trying to edit members then to no avail none of the members were saved to the group. Thanks.
Edit Groups for Contacts app
This app is a must for anyone looking to get more out of iOS Contacts app. Add groups, delete groups, create groups, assign ringtones and text tones to whole groups, no problem.
Your app is what has been missing from iOS contacts app!! Features are great and functionality is awesome.
Could you add the ability to delete a contact from a group, I think you already have it with the “edit” button inside “Member” but the edit button doesn’t actually do anything.

Great app... Allows you to assign ring tones, text tones and vibes for groups of contacts. Would be better if, when going to assign contactS to a group, it let you know if a contact was already in a group. But it does what it does pretty well and i have not felt the need to go looking for another one.

And now functions better than the original that I loved so much.
I recommend paying for the full version, I am thrilled with it

Perfect solution
I want my phone to buzz for all calls but only ring for contacts. It seems like this should be built in to the iPhone but it's not. The solution is to purchase a silent ringtone and set it as the default. Then set all your contacts to an audible ringtone. But the iPhone also has no way to sign all those audible ringtones at once! The Gringtone app is the solution. You can create a group of contacts you want to ring (mine had 639 members) and then assign them all a ringtone at once. As of May 2018 it works perfectly with iOS 11.3.

Awesome once again!
Hooray - GRingtones is back - it works with iOS 11.3!! This is one of my go-to apps - it’s invaluable to have a distinct ringtone for the folks in my address book (vs all the telemarketing calls)! Thank you, developer!!
Crashes
I'm using the most current IOS, and this app crashes so often that I can't even use it.
Does not work.
App continues to close. Completely useless. Would request a refund but no developer email address to contact.
