Keeps crashing
Like for others, the app worked great once, but then it crashed and won’t open
New version 6.0 broke my iPhone 7 from working
I installed the latest version of the app v 6.0 and now the main screen does not fit on the screen. Also when I shoot just still shoots it works. When I do a video it will start the video but when I try to zoom in it hangs the app and have to shut down the app. Never had any problems at prior version.

Unable to connect
After downloading and opening the app and giving all the permissions to access photo library the app freezes on the main page and just shows “loading” message
Freezes on splash screen when trying to open on IOS 11.3.1
I tried about 5 times. Got it to work once to fully load. Then after a little use, it crashed. Now back to unable to launch the application again. For the money, this is no where near useful. Honesty there are grips like this which offer same features without zoom options for a quarter of the price. Check out Grip Dat

This is very handy and easy to use app for taking photo and video without touch screen. I'm just pleased that it is so easy to use to get whatever I need done actually done.

Great App and Hardware
I've been using the Grip & Shoot for some months now and find that it really helps get better photos and videos with my iPhone. I do a lot of travel and work-related photography and use my iPhone when I am not in a postiion to lug my DSLR around. The Grip & Shoot hardware works with some other photo apps too. My current favourite is 645 Pro. The developer, Ben Zajeski, is quick to respond to questions and issues, usually within hours. I found a bug a few days ago when I was shooting video in China. Ben responded almost immediately and then contacted me to let me know that the app has already been updated.

Hardware is nice but...........
This version and its predecessor are very buggy. Think twice before committing your memories to a program that's not even close to ready for wide release. Stuttering video, no sound (new release), past release, the audio was way out of snyc with video. Image stabilation doesn't seem to work on iPhone 7. This but few of the bugs identified.

App crashes with front facing camera
App works unless you try to record a video using the front facing camera (selfie videos). Please fix this issue, the grip and shoot would be perfect if this bug gets resolved.

This is one of the coolest things I own and if you are a mobile photographer you need to own one too.

This is a really neat device! The only downside is that it is not compatible with iPhone 5c. I think the plastic backing is too thick so it doesn't fit.
Basic camera feature missing!
There is one missing basic feature that is typically found in even the most least known camera apps these days, and that is GEOTAGGING!
Please guys. I bought the hardware and I love it, but until I can geotag my photos, I can’t use this app, which then means that I cannot use the hardware since there are no other apps that support it.
Just add geotagging and this app will become worthy of five stars. Thanks.

Works great
App does everything it's supposed to do. It's an easy and user friendly interface. Combined with the grip and shoot system it's a must have set up for all camera phone photogs out there. Highly recommend it.

Love the remote functionality
Love the fact I no longer have to outrun a camera timer! With Grip and Shoot's built in Bluetooth remote I just set the shot in the frame, take my place in the photo, and take the picture when I'm ready!

I was recently at a wedding with a friend who had the Grip & Shoot. The self portraits and wedding shots turned out so well that I had to download the App and purchase the Grip & Shoot for myself. Additionally, as I rarely carry another camera, besides my cell phones', to events the Grip & Shoot is enabling me to take higher quality photos. Two thumbs up!

Amazing
I'm very impressed with this app. I am terrible at taking photos/videos withy phone (mainly because I have a hard time holding the phone still and pressing buttons) but the Grip and Shoot has made life so much easier. I love it!
