What's New in GritRace
1.1.6
August 20, 2026
The race ribbon: every race and simulation of the same shape as one bar, split in the order you ran it. All bars on one scale — the width is the finish time, and a segment that grew is one you can see grow. The last bar shows what your training says: every station at the time it actually costs you in training, every run at your own race pace. NEW • Race ribbon in Analysis — races, simulations and training in the same units • Pace progression is back: Zone 2 and race pace across a whole season • Auto-pause for runs is adjustable — a slider from 5 to 45 seconds • Analysis tidied up: 32 sections in named bands you fold open and shut • AI plans now understand rounds, calories and station durations • Week tiles name the session: "6×800 m @ 4:45" instead of just "Strength" • Settings can be changed on the iPhone AND on the Watch, and they sync FIXED • Simulations now count in full towards your cardio load. Only the running parts used to reach it — the stations, usually the longer and always the harder half, counted for nothing. • The automatic pause really works: it no longer stops a second into every interval, and it starts itself again when you run on. • "Keep them" on an AI import really keeps them — completed days stay in the plan. • The same week no longer appears twice in the plan. • An accepted pace suggestion can no longer slow a target down. • On low readiness the session is trimmed without cutting the point of it. • Deadly ERG and Deadly Mile no longer invent runs the format does not have. • The elevation profile covers the whole run instead of just the current block. • The breath coach is marked as a beta and stays off until you turn it on.
