A sleek floating pill sits at the bottom of your screen, giving you quick access to your favorites and the add button. Tap the plus icon and watch it smoothly transform into a full input form with fields for item name and quantity. Adding groceries to your shared shopping list has never felt this fast or intuitive. The collapsed toolbar keeps your screen clean while giving you instant access to everything you need. When you're done, the form elegantly folds back into its compact pill shape. Whether you're meal prepping for the week or doing a quick grocery run, the new toolbar makes building your shopping checklist effortless. BEAUTIFUL IRIS CIRCLE ANIMATIONS Opening your favorites screen and the settings menu now features a stunning iris circle animation. A circle expands gracefully from the bottom of your screen to reveal the content, accompanied by a subtle golden glow along the edge. Closing is equally smooth — swipe down or tap the background and the circle contracts elegantly. These refined transitions make navigating your grocery organizer feel premium and delightful, turning everyday shopping list management into a visually satisfying experience. DRAG & DROP CATEGORY REORDERING Take full control of how your shopping categories are organized. Long-press any category tab to grab it, then drag it to your preferred position. Other categories animate smoothly to make room. Your custom order saves automatically to the cloud, so your most-used grocery categories are always where you want them on every device. Whether you sort by produce, dairy, frozen foods, snacks, or custom categories, you decide the layout that fits your shopping routine. ENHANCED SHARED LIST MANAGEMENT Managing your family grocery lists is now more powerful than ever. Tap the info button on any list to access the new List Details panel. From there you can rename your list, set it as your default, share it with family and friends using a join code, view all members and their permissions, or delete and leave shared lists you no longer need. Everything to manage your collaborative shopping lists is one tap away — making household grocery coordination a breeze. PERMISSION BADGES & ROLE INDICATORS When collaborating on a shared shopping list, you'll now see clear visual indicators showing your permission level. Animated badges display whether you're the owner, an editor who can add and modify items, or a viewer with read-only access. A subtle indicator strip beneath the list header lets you know at a glance what actions you can perform — making teamwork on your family grocery list clearer and more organized than ever before. SMOOTHER PERFORMANCE ON ALL DEVICES Major behind-the-scenes improvements to animation performance across the entire app, particularly benefiting users on older iPhone models like iPhone XR, iPhone X, and iPhone 8. We've eliminated animation bottlenecks that could cause stutters or interface shifts. The header, category tabs, avatars, and toolbar are all noticeably smoother and more responsive now.
