Quick Scan No Workie
Love the app. But Updated to current version yesterday. Quick Scan feature is reading the product, but won’t let you save the changes.(the button never turns blue) Did the same ‘Consume’ activity from PC browser after that and that worked ok. Cleared cache and logged out/in and still no joy.
Huge improvements
Really want to give a shoutout to de dev for all the latest updates. The app was already usable for me, but with some bugs here and there. The latest fixes address everything from issues to enhancements, to include an enhancement I request. Thank you for all the work you’ve put into this app.

Love it but can't scan barcodes with phone
Installed Grocy in Unraid and installed Bar Code Buddy and even though it does scan the bar code it shows the wrong number so I have to enter it manually. If I use the web apps on my IPhone Safari and Chrome won't use the camera. Such an amazing project but because of these issues I can only rate it a 4.

Edit: 1 Star, two phones with iOS 18, 1 grandfathered in on old app, other phone can’t download, requirement of iOS 26 is absurd

Does have a bugs. Putting in the exp date does a minus one on whatever you select and the 1st of the month will result in rolling back to the 31st.
Also the master data for products does not allow changing sort so it defaults to time of entry

Cool Home Serve App
It works, it connects to my Grocy instance, keeping my data local. Looking forward to Recipe integration and support for newer versions of the server. Let us pay you for the privilege!
Needs some updates
The app gives an error when using the latest version of the server(even the demo environment gives the error). There is no option in app to track chores.
Where Are Chores
So, I wanted a solution for chores for my kids, but I guess iOS has none…

Thank you for developing such a great app! Two requests: can you add a tip jar? Also, can you please add support for “userfields” for the custom fields we add on applicable groups (I.e. shopping list)

There is a bug that makes this app unusable (for me at least)
When adding an item to your grocery list, I have multiple different quantity units, however, the app only displays whatever is default. For example: turkey (options are whole, ground, slice) but no matter what I choose it’ll always say I need a whole, since it’s default.

So full of bugs
This is so buggy, that it is almost useless.
I am wondering what’s the point of having an app that offers no offline sync funtionality AND even that is full of bugs and errors. It is great that the app is translated to several languages, but it remains useless.
Over the past year there has been little to no functional development - ie. bug-fixing done.

Entering Data is Extremely Buggy
Trying to add new products or record purchases of existing ones with fields not populating/saving correctly and entered data being lost when moving to another field. The benefit of being able to scan barcodes with the camera is not worth all the headaches of using this app and then having to clean up the incomplete data later.

Chinese language
Is possible to add Chinese language in the near future? For me is good, but it’s not friendly for my family members usage.
Great Grocy Companion
The app works very well and is great to scan in items and manage inventory! There are other bits to Grocy not visible in the app, most importantly being the meal planning section. Other areas like chores and battery tracking I could live without.
But having a list to take with me to the store has never been more fun. Would love to see this app grow with more features.
