Horrible App and experience

To begin with, I want to start by saying that the support team was absolutely useless. I got one email at the very beginning of my process of making my account, where they asked me a couple of questions. When I went to reply, I got no response for the whole day, and I’m still waiting. It felt like an absolute spit in the face.

First of all, the app was not allowing me to make an account due to me supposedly having a VPN, or at least that’s what the app claimed. Bear in mind, I do not have a VPN or anything of the sort, nor have I ever used one. So, I left it for a while, and with some luck, I was actually able to make an account.

I made the account, got to messaging a couple of people, and then went out to meet with some friends for a bit. When I got back, I tried to log back into my account and get back to the people I had messaged. However, after copying the password sent to me in my email, it said that my username and password were incorrect, even though they were the exact same ones that I had used previously.

After this, I went to reset my password and entered the email address that I used to make the account, and now it’s claiming that I never even had an account.

This has been a horrible experience for me, and I find it disgusting. Please do not use this app unless you want to be ridiculed and have your time wasted.

Don’t waste your time

If you plan on having a conversation with yourself then this is the app for you. The people are stuck up, no one replies. Once in a while you’ll get a response but the minute you say anything that has to do with the kinks, it’s nothing but crickets. Defeats the whole point of this app.

Dont waste your time

I can’t speak for every community on this app, but i will speak on feabie. Its legitimately the worst place you can go if this is a kink you genuinely want to explore with yourself and someone else. Terribly stuck up people if they’re legit, and if they aren’t? Prepare to be scammed, lied to, and generally played for a fool. Im convinced the “moderators” don’t give a damn about anyone who uses this app, in fact, I’m convinced they’re helping scam the users. A joke of a “community” and the sooner feabie is deleted from the internet the sooner we can move on and create something better. I implore anyone interested in this app to look elsewhere, and if you’re considering returning from a previously deleted account just dont. Nothing has changed.

Sospensioni e ban

L’app è molto bella e le community sono interessanti però sono stato bannato e sospeso senza motivo

Zero Support and Unfair ban

I used to like this app until they banned me because I created too many accounts but I had good reason to do so. When I tried to appeal they said my appeal was AI generated and to contact them in 16 months to appeal again. After looking at their Q&A I broke a rule under the 7 day ban and a warning. I did not get a warning or a 7 day ban and instead got permanently banned. After reading that I have reached out to them multiple times over the past couple months and they are choosing to ignore me… That is very unprofessional behavior and it’s sad to see how downhill this app has gone. Would 100% be willing to change my review if I was given some actual support.

A social app experience I would not wish on my worst enemy

⭐ App Review: Grokio

I downloaded Grokio thinking it would be a fun, community‑driven space. What I actually got was an app that feels like it was coded during a power outage by someone using a trackpad covered in syrup.

🐢 Performance

The app loads with the enthusiasm of a sloth on its lunch break. Every tap triggers a 5–10 second delay, giving you plenty of time to reflect on your life choices and reconsider why you opened the app in the first place.

🔋 Battery Drain

I opened Grokio for four minutes and my phone battery dropped 20%. I’m convinced the app is either running a secret space program or trying to tunnel into the Earth’s core.

🎨 Interface

The UI looks like it was designed by three different people who never met each other. Buttons float in random places. Menus overlap. Half the icons look like they were borrowed from clip art packs labeled “miscellaneous shapes.”

🔔 Notifications

Grokio sends notifications like it’s trying to win a competition.
Examples include:

• “Someone might have looked at your profile”
• “You haven’t opened the app today. Why”
• “We added a new feature. We think. Come check”

It’s like being nagged by a needy robot.

🧩 Features

The app advertises “community engagement tools,” which apparently means:

• A feed that refreshes itself every 30 seconds for no reason
• A messaging system that crashes if you type more than two sentences
• A search function that returns results unrelated to anything you typed

I searched for “Los Angeles” and it showed me three people in Ohio and a picture of a dog.

💥 Stability

The app crashes so often it should come with a seatbelt. One crash was so dramatic my phone froze, rebooted, and then refused to open Grokio again—as if it was trying to protect me.

🧨 Final Verdict

Grokio is less of an app and more of an endurance test. If you enjoy lag, chaos, battery drain, and UI decisions that defy logic, this is the app for you. For everyone else: run.

No back button

The new iPad app is missing a back button, which makes navigation difficult. When I tap on a photo or profile in a feed or people gallery, there’s no way to return to the previous screen. The only option is to use the left-side menu tabs, which sends me back to the very beginning of the feed or gallery instead of returning to where I was.

As a result, the app becomes frustrating to use and I’m more likely to switch to using the website in a browser. The phone app includes a back button, so this feels like an inconsistency between versions.

What a mess

The new app is a buggy unstable mess and the UI is a nightmare to navigate. How did this pass any kind of testing? It’s a massive regression.

Outdated app with biased moderation

The app feels outdated and hasn’t really evolved much over time. The interface and overall experience feel quite old compared to similar platforms today.

What’s more concerning is the moderation. In my experience, it doesn’t feel neutral at all. I’ve seen situations where users get involved in political arguments, and instead of keeping things balanced, moderation seemed to take sides. I personally experienced being targeted after expressing conservative/republican views, and instead of handling the situation fairly, moderation appeared to defend the other users involved.

There also seems to be a lot of ongoing drama on the platform that isn’t really managed effectively, which makes the overall environment feel less welcoming and inconsistent.

Overall, the concept of the app is good, but the execution and moderation standards really need improvement if it wants to feel fair and modern.

The update app is horrible

The old version of this app was so much better. Please consider reverting back to the old one or give people the ability to revert back to older versions of the app.

These changes are awful

I’m a user of ferzu. I love the community I’ve found on there, and this update is negatively affecting that community in major ways. You advertised this change primarily with the positive of no more limits on full size photos, only to completely remove the ability to see photos full size in your feeds without premium. You changed the profiles so everyone can only have 12 pictures visible at a time without premium on a site full of artists and people who work in visual mediums. 30 was hard enough to deal with but that was still better. Comments on posts are hidden behind multiple menus now. The profiles are harder to navigate. The menus are harder to navigate, I can’t even figure out how to get backyard o the main non ferzu page. This is an awful, anti-user update and something needs to give if you want to keep the community you have. News flash, forcing aspects of normal usage behind a paywall doesn’t make us want to buy premium, it frustrates us into leaving your platform.

Need to fix an existing issue

I’ve been a member of this group for quite a long time now and when I first used it I started off with a very accessible app that was not only accessible but very easy to use for someone who has a visual impairment with a screen reader. Fast forward to at least three years now for some reason the app has become practically inaccessible for sending messages. The send button is no longer on my screen when I have my screen reader activated so if I want to send a message using the app, I have to turn off my screen reader then it miraculously appears for me to be able to send a message. I have complained to your Customer Services but to know avail! So if I want to use this group I have to use the website which is not always convenient for me. I don’t understand why this issue cannot be fixed as you do regular updates. And as an inclusive group surely you want your app to be accessible to everyone. When this issue is fixed, I will give this app five stars.

Owner is a Zionist

One of the owners, Jed Levine, silences members of this community who are critical of Israel. He protects Zionist scum Israelis on his platform who actively deny they are committing a genocide and actively encourage the ethnic cleansing of the native Palestinian people.

Don’t purchase a premium account

Unless you want them to take your money, not activate the premium features, and then never respond to you, don’t purchase a premium account. The downsides of not buying the premium? Limited picture views, limited ability to send messages. Worthless.

I wrote a honest review but it didn’t appear

Not a good app for socializing just trying to get social media not a good app for posting pictures and it doesn’t work good in the instant messaging. Client pretty much fails that everything’s intend to do can’t really do adult content cause the rules are garbage that don’t actually improve anything and the only thing more pathetic than the app is paying for the lack of function. They can’t make the app work without you paying for it shouldn’t pay for it to get marginally better spend that money on anything else.

Extremists and terrorist supporters

They banned my account for posting the truth that the United Kingdom is covering up serious child rape gangs and then called it intolerance! They violate your first amendment rights just because they are a private run company

Does not work

Does not let me create an account. Claims that I am using a tor or vpn, which I am not. Tried this on the app, and on the website across multiple devices, all to the same result

Not one brain cell was harmed in making this app

Because clearly none were used, it’s so bad, you can’t do any normal thing like you’d be able to do on day literally any and every other social media, this site makes all those basic things virtually impossible to use. Everything about this app is so anti-user.

A Most Vexing and Ungentlemanly Establishment!

Good heavens, where to begin? As an axolotl of refined Regency breeding, I am unaccustomed to raising my voice — but Grokio has roused in me a fury most unseemly for a creature of my delicate gills.

I must protest, in the strongest, frilliest aquatic terms available, the recent heinous and scandalous treatment of my dearest companion, Fake. A gentler soul has never strolled the digital parlors of our modern “web.” Yet, upon Ferzu — that pudgy little social salon — Fake found themself blocked by a cluster of Trump-adoring ruffians, whose manners are as coarse as unfiltered pond water.

And what did Grokio’s administrators do when approached for assistance?
NOTHING.
Not even a polite curtsy! Not even a tepid apology! They dared, with breathtaking insolence, to uphold such shabby behavior, as though Fake were some mud-speckled tadpole unworthy of dignified treatment!

I, Lady Petronella, who has survived duels, masquerades, and an unfortunate incident with a bonnet ribbon, declare this:

Never have I seen an establishment so ill-run, so unconcerned with justice, and so bereft of common decency.

Their moderation is slower than a sleepy salamander, their judgment more crooked than a broken water lily stem, and their regard for users as thin as a Regency waistline (and far less fashionable).

Should you value fairness, civility, or the happiness of beloved companions, seek your digital society elsewhere. I would rather dry out for an afternoon than return to Grokio’s damp, mildewed excuse for community management.

One star, only because the system refuses to permit none
