Cons and Pros

Grom is really good but here are some cons: Whenever I am making a long video and I leave my phone for a while when I press play it doesn’t start and I can’t post my video.We can’t post pictures we can only do videos. And we also can’t use our own sounds…I know it’s a kids app so if someone uses a bad sound u can monitor it and ban the video if it’s inappropriate. NOW to the PROS: They have a lot of different sounds you can add to your video. ITS DEFINITELY KID SAFE! And you can see what your child is posting by getting the app and clicking adult! Overall grom is a really good app! Thank you for listening and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to me and fix this right away! It’ll make more people come onto grom. Cause rn it’s barely people on there…

I love Grom but here is one thing…..

So about the gromatars when I saw them they scared me out so badly I don’t really like the gromatars that much because of how they look and the texture the texture reminds me of sand and I don’t really like it when I press the animations they give me this scary smile look also scared me so badly so can you please change the avatars a bit please

Why do you need a verification from your parents with a video?! Just have them put in their email or number. My parents aren’t cringe like that they won’t do the video neither will I…

Okay, so we just got the app. Everything is great, we got to get to post in a few hours. They have fast service too. It doesn’t let you upload videos from your phone though. My daughter has a YouTube channel and she wants to upload her shorts and videos. Please fix this!

Adding your videos from your phone can be done in the editor. If you just record a little clip then go to editor. You a then upload videos to your editing timeline. Then you can just delete the recorded clip and now you will have a complete uploaded video from your device. If you have any more questions, please email support@gromsocial.com

Horrible 😭😭

I was so excited because I was to young so have another social media app to get this one so I tried it and logged in but then I had to make this verification video with my mom and she did not feel comfortable doing it this is the worst I do not recommend 😔😔👎👎

We changed the verification method to this parent and child video. The videos are not used for anything else than verifying the parent permission. Please have your mom ask any questions to support so that she can feel more comfortable in this process.

Can’t get in

I tried entering my birthday but I can’t use December! And I create a new account, It doesn’t let me do anything when the birthday is not registered! And ya can’t log in cuz ya get a new account! Please fix this!

I am sorry for the trouble you are having. It sounds like you tried to set the month before changing the day or year. If you select December without changing the year from 2024. It cannot set a birthdate in the future so it will revert you back to current month. Try putting your birth year in first, then choosing the day and month.

I forgot my password

It’s me again. I tried finding the “Forget Password?” button but couldn’t. I’d have to click the one for my username so idk what to do. I’d honestly just rather make a new account but my parent that helped me with the og app will try to get me back on the old account. I didn’t need anything on my old account, so I’d be fine with a new one!

Hi Leah, Thanks for reaching out! We have checked our system and could not find an account with that username. If your parent can log into their account, they can check on your username. You can reset your password in the Kids experience by tapping "Forgot Password?" at the bottom of the sign in page and entering the code that gets sent to your parent's email address. If you are still having trouble have your parent send an email to support@gromsocial.com or visit gromsocial.com/help for other tips!

Horrible verification

Not sitting strait enough mind it says this after about 2 hours of waiting and then makes you restart the process all again this verification is unnecessarily difficult and long do what doctors does with qr codes

Better than zigazoo

Ok it is better than zigazoo because it lets you post for more than 30 or 60 seconds and it doesn’t have a premium version which is so cool! 😻😻 but i do have a con my grom app lags so bad it literally plays a video music when I’m not even on the video! Then I click on the dressing room and it kicks me out !😕 I’m so sad because I wanna post more on there! And I also have something to say for a future update, y’all should add a picture posting feature!🤩🤩 you guys would be the first ever kids app to do that and more people would be attracted by the app 🥳🥳but as I said don’t hurry into doing the photo update just worry about the glitches cause it annoys me a lot 😔😔 but overall it’s a pretty cool app I love it PLEASE DONT ADD A PREMIUM VERSION CAUSE I WILL BE SAD 😖😖 but I LOVE THIS APP 😻😻😻🫶🫶🫶

Fun app for my child

My child has been enjoying the new Grom app. She has a lot of fun playing with the 3D characters. I feel safe when my child’s on Grom.

So much better than Zigazoo!

Zigazoo started to disappoint me recently by locking everything fun behind a subscription, so I started to look for alternatives. I asked my mom to let get this app because it looked similar to zigazoo, but without having to pay money to enjoy the app! I was right!

After verifying, I started uploading my videos from zigazoo and im pretty glad that it gives you a notification when videos are approved! (Zigazoo left me guessing whether if it was allowed or not.) One other cool thing is the comments, and all the kids are so nice in them. The gromatars are okay looking, I just wish they were optional and you could upload a custom profile picture instead. Overall its an awesome app, wish it had more kids on it! 5 stars.

I love Grom

I’m a kid who is too young to have stuff social media ( Snapchat instagram etc.) and this app helps my nervous wreck mom know I’m safe
