About

Hear the rhythm. Practice at your pace. Groove Lab gives dancers simple, steady accompaniment that works offline. Follow an eight-count display and scrolling instrument tracks to see where each sound lands. Five practice arrangements • Brazilian Zouk: a long-short-short foundation with several drum timbres • Salsa: 2–3 Son Clave, conga, an optional pulse bell, and syncopated bass • Dominican Bachata: a Derecho-based arrangement with bongo, güira, bass, and guitar • Sensual Bachata: steady accompaniment built on a shared Bachata foundation • Kizomba: a simplified experimental practice arrangement Shape your own practice • Choose Slow or Natural tempo, or adjust one BPM at a time • Tap instrument names to toggle parts and adjust each track's volume • Lower the music with one switch while explaining or demonstrating • Choose a sparse or fuller arrangement and available timbres • Set a count-in of 0–6 beats or seconds • Practice continuously or for 2, 5, or 10 minutes • Pause, continue, or restart from count 1 • Choose Chinese or English in Settings Core sounds are bundled with the app. No account, ads, or streaming is required, and settings stay on your device. Playback pauses when the app is backgrounded, the device locks, or audio is interrupted. Resume manually when ready. External reference links open in the system browser. These simplified arrangements support timing practice. They are not complete songs or an exhaustive representation of each dance style.
