Please bring the 4x4 layout to iPhone — it makes perfect sense to have it there where the screen is way better in portrait mode than landscape…. 🫶🏼😭

Für mich, der beste Auv3 Gastgeber. Live-Automation, endlich (fast) so geschmeidig, wie in Gadget. Die Hausinternen Effekte klingen sehr gut bis gut. Workflow, für mich perfekt. Auch ist dieser Gastgeber schnell zu erlernen (ja…Nano Studio 2 war auch sehr gut), aber hier funktioniert vieles meiner Meinung nach besser.

Good app but has sound issues on my iPad Pro m4 Auv3 plugins cause clicking built in sounds are fine it’s when you use plugins effect or instrument.

沢山の機材に目移りして疲れていたけどこれだけあれば集中して音楽作りが出来る。出来上がった曲を外部シンセで鳴らすのも良い
16x16のクリップが上下順番が簡単に入れ替えればもっと作りやすい。それとクリップのシンクをビートに合わせて切り替えたりできたら個人的には最強のiOS groove boxになる。。どうか次のアップデートでお願いします🙏

The future is bright
Still has a few rough corners, but works pretty well already (actually, it's already better than most of the competition). I am rather looking forward to all the interesting stuff that is bound to be forthcoming!
For the time being, the only thing I really miss are ready-to-use samples and wavetables, just like in the predecessor. And if you can think of a way to bring this app to the iPhone, I would be in heaven...

I really love this. There are a few things I’d love to see added if possible.
A 2nd LFO and with attack/release time
Sample editor with fine pitch adjustment.
Drag & drop samples on to pads.
midi learn page like drambo. Midi learn for Part select back and forward? Can't midi learn 16 samples to the 16 key pads as C3/C4 etc is there twice bottom left & top right 🙏

NO BRAINER
This is what the sequencer part of Korg Gadget could have been. I’ve been using IOS apps for music nearly ten years now. I don’t usually feel compelled to write a review because I’m not usually that impressed. But this app is really really great. The groove box mentality is too much fun and easy to get building tracks on the fly. The features have been really well thought out and everything I would want is there - probability triggers, conditional triggers, step sequencing, automation, AU integration, resampling. Honestly it’s incredibly fun and I will be using it for years to come. I hope this app has a long life and I would be happy with it as is especially for the price - even if the dev doesn’t add any more features. Audio tracks would be nice but not a deal breaker for me. This is a groovebox afterall.

Another brilliant app from this developer, one that pushes the original groovebox concept into full DAW territory. I absolutely love the ability to record a few clips, launch them in different combinations, and save that performance onto a song timeline for further tweaking. A very satisfying workflow and a pleasure to interact with/look at too.

If you make music on a high performance iOS device, this is a must-get.
Quick, creative, inspiring & great value. At £100 this would still be worth every penny and more.
Please watch Jacob Haq’s video where he interviews Jim. This guy is a musician who took years making this app. He has thought about every detail and the asking price is minimal for what it does.
It works beautifully with a Launchpad and brings the best out of the device.
If Jim adds more functionality and updates then so be it. Woohoo.
If not it is still a great example of how lucky we are to live in a time where such a great developer can create something so good for a relatively small amount.
And it looks great, just like Poison and Pure Acid.
Buy it. Learn it. Make music. Have fun.
