About
Group Games turns one iPad or iPhone into the family games table. The host device sits in the middle and shows the board, the piles and the dice; everyone plays around it.
For games with secret hands, everyone joins from their own phone. The lobby shows a QR code; scanning it opens the game in the phone's browser. Nothing to install, no accounts, and each phone shows only what is private to that player.
Everything runs on your device. No internet, no accounts, no tracking, no adverts. Any Wi-Fi works, even one with no connection to the outside world, and away from home a Personal Hotspot does the job.
Seven games are free to keep: Yatzy, Pairs, Snap, Crazy Eights, Snakes and Ladders, Quiz Quest and Tennis. One purchase unlocks all seventy: cards, dice, board games, party games, arcade games and learning games, from Chess and Backgammon to Sketch and Shout and Whack a Mole.
Every finished game is remembered. Leaderboards, records and streaks live in Stats, and Tournaments runs holiday championships, leagues and knockout cups, with a shareable summary when they end.
Family Sharing is supported, grown-ups controls lock any game behind Face ID, and the catalogue stretches from a solo game of Yatzy to a full table of ten playing Cheat.
